-----------------------------------------------Grinning, Dream looked towards his best mates as they ran around the forest that surrounded their base. The green coated man could hardly remember the last time the trio just relaxed, forgetting about all the drama that they had with L'manchildburg for the time being. However, all good things must end, right? And this was a good thing, meaning it would have to come to an unfortunate end...
"Hey, Dream?" Sapnap asked as they sat under the sun's rays, looking towards the sky, remembering better times. Said man hummed in response, refusing to open his forest green eyes as the warm rays warmed his hoodie. "Why?"
That got the man's attention. What did Sapnap mean why? What was he talking about? "What do you mean, Sap?" Dream was confused, very confused. He knew Sapnap could be confusing at times, but this? This was a whole other level for the guy.
"Whydid you do it?" Sapnap seemed to become angrier at Dream's confusion. Hearing that amount of anger in the younger man's voice, Dream forced his eyes open so he could look at the pure anger which had manifested on Sapnap's usually laid back face. "Why did you kill George?!" He... killed... George...? No, that wasn't right. George was right next-
His heart stopped.
When Dream had turned to look at the colour-blind man, he was met with the slowly decaying corpse of his brunette friend. "George...?" Dream whispered; eyes wide as tears threatened to spill over as he saw the look of fear on his face. "W-what happened to him...?"
Sapnap scoffed, grabbing the tearful man's jaw in a tight grip, forcing him to look him in his eyes. Or what should have been his eyes, at least. Instead of the comforting grey Dream had become so accustomed to, it had been replaced with a pair of white orbs which leaked with blood that cascaded down his unnervingly pale cheeks.
"You did this, Dream. You killed George, your best friend. Not only did you kill George, but you killed everyone. Phil, Techno, Tommy, Tubbo, Fundy, Eret, me." As the ravenette listed off the people that Dream had apparently killed, their decaying bodies would appear in front or around him.
"Dream," a rough yet kind voice called, causinghis attention to turn away from the lifeless, bleeding bodies of his friends/enemies only to find no one there. "Dream!" The voice sounded panicked now, like something wasn't going quite as the voice had planned.
Then another voice spoke, slightly softer than the first. "Dream, it's okay, you're okay," they comforted him, easing him into a dreamless slumber. "There you go." The calming voice then proceeded to fade into white noise, allowing him to finally rest comfortably.
"Will he be okay?" Phil's second eldest son, Techno, asked, looking down at the peaceful man. A soft smile graced the father's face at his concern for the man who probably wanted all of them dead.
"He'll be fine, Techno," he assured, patting his shoulder before moving towards the chest of clothes they had in the room and grabbing some clothes for the sleeping man for when he wakes up. It was a simple outfit really, a pair of grey sweatpants and a white shirt. "I'm gonna go make some soup for all of us, okay? Wilbur, Tubbo and Tommy are coming over soon." Techno hummed in response, leaning back against the headboard with Dream sleeping peacefully next to him. Phil couldn't help but chuckle as he left the room and headed downstairs to the kitchen.
An hour later and the food was cooked, and right on time too! Wilbur, Tubbo, and Tommy had just arrived, Tommy going off on one when Phil told the trio that Dream was here. "Why is Dream here, Phil?" Tubbo asked, always the inquisitive one.
