Ranboo took a deep breath, looking at the books on the floor surrounding him. Why did he have little to no memories of his past? Did he do something so bad they forced him to forget? What happened to him? Suddenly, music began to play from somewhere close to him. Where is that coming from? Ranboo thought, looking around. That's when he recognized the tune. Why? Why now?
"Hide my memories away," he sang, looking at the books before him. Ranboo failed to notice how two people had entered his home – a blonde and a pinkette.
'You're the one who obeyed, you're the one who betrayed'
He felt as if a little part of him agreed with his inner thoughts, but he wasn't too sure.
"Hide my fear behind a smile,"
'Nothing's real anymore, am I rea? Am I-'
"Keep your distance," he watched as the pages started to fold slightly, changing if you will. "The voices inside me, they all terrify me. Keep your distance, they say I'm a traitor but I can't remember." Ranboo turned as he heard a creak from behind him, eyes meeting the blonde and pinkette's.
"Ranboo...?" the pinkette asked, eyebrows scrunched together in concern.
"It's all in my head now, but it's all just the same. It's all in my head now, I think I might go insane."
"Ranboo, mate, you're okay," the blonde assured, trying to take a step closer to the clearly frightened boy.
"Tell myself I will be fine,"
'This was all my design, you will always be mine'.
Dream.
"Find myself back here again."
'You were never my friend, you were never my-'
"Keep your distance," it seemed to be a warning this time, more urgent than before. "I'm trying to fight it, I'm trying to hide it. Keep your distance, but I keep on hurting and you keep returning."
"Ranboo, it's okay," the pinkette tried to get the half-and-half being to calm down yet failed.
"It's all in my head now, but it's all just the same," Ranboo muttered, "It's all in my head now, I think I might go insane." The pinkette raced forward, catching the hybrid's body as he fell limp.
"What the fuck just happened?" asked the blonde, leading the pinkette away from Ranboo's home.
"I don't know," replied the pinkette, lookingdown at the limp boy in his arms. "It's like he just went... Insane."
