MY HEADCANNON ABOUT MUMZA, DREAM AND FOOLISH
Since Mumza is known as the Goddess of Death, Foolish canonically confirming that he's the God of Death, and with Dream being Foolish's brother making him the God of Life, it would make sense if all three were related, right? Hear me out here.

In all mythologies, there has never been two gods/goddesses of the same thing, meaning that Mumza or Foolish would have to be born before the other. Well, I believe that Mumza is both Foolish and Dream's sister and was born before them. However, since Philza said that Wilbur, Tommy, and Techno's mother was dead and that's why he said that their mother was a Samsung fridge, it would mean that Mumza would have died when the two were still quite young. You may be thinking; but Jae, how does Puffy fit into this theory? Easy, I'll tell you.

Mumza, Foolish, and Dream's parents had passed away from committing many sins against the superior Gods (you know, the Gods of elements like God of Water, God of Fire, God of Wind etc.) meaning that Mumza/Kristin would have to look after the two. When she died, however, it meant the duo were left on their own with no one to look after them. Philza could have taken them in, but he already had three boys and didn't want anymore stress added to his shoulders. This is where Captain Puffy comes into play. After being abandoned by Philza, Puffy found the two by the water's edge and decided to take them in. That's another reason why she calls them her 'Little Ducklings', they followed her around when they were younger but also because she found them by the water's edge. Even after Puffy adopted the two and knowing that they were in safe hands, Phil would always find some time to fly by wherever they are to check on them as a last promise to his late wife.

Growing up, both Dream and Foolish showed the signs of being powerful gods, and this always concerned both Phil and Puffy. Phil knew the curse set on their families after the sins their parents had committed and knew that the two were never going to be normal kids or have a normal life, making him slightly more protective of those two than his kids because he knew what kind of fate they had and knew they would need more help than other kids to understand what was happening to them. Through this, Philza also became a god; the God of Pain since he went through so much in his life.

Essentially everything that happened on the SMP that involved Philza, his family, Foolish, Puffy, and/or Dream was well beyond their control, all because of the sins that Kristin, Foolish and Dream's parents had committed all those millennials ago.
