Merlin and I were walking along a passage outside; Merlin had a basket with sheets in it. I look to the courtyard and see Uther and the Lady Catrina going for a ride.
Merlin suddenly starts running down the passage.
"What are you--" I begin
"Just follow me," Merlin says.
I follow Merlin all the way to Catrina's chambers.
"Oh, genius," I say
Merlin opens the door.
"What are you two doing?"
We spin around and see Jules.
"Uhm, changing the sheets?" I reply casually.
"Yeah sure, your breaking into Lady Catrina's room."
"We were-" I begin
"Don't try and deny it. I'm coming with."
Merlin rolls his eyes "Fine."
He walks through the door then Jules walks through, I close the door after I walkthrough. Merlin puts down the basket on the chest, then starts coughing.
I walk over to him "What is it?"
I get to where he was, and it smelt vile, "What is that?"
"What is what?" Jules walks over to me and gags "What the hell is that? Nah you guys are on your own I'm leaving"
Jules walks out the door; I laugh at her.
"Wow, I missed her" I smile.
I turn and walk to the bed and stand next to Merlin. He kneels and looks under the bed; I look under the pillows. Merlin looks at the bed and runs his hands along the sheets.
"Can I help you?"
I look up and see Jonas.
"No, uh we were just changing the sheets." Merlin stammers.
"Please, go ahead. Don't let me get in your way." Jonas says
I glance at Merlin, and he begins flattening the sheets, so I fixed the pillows.
"All, done thank you," Merlin says.
We stand and walk to the door.
"Merlin? Aren't you forgetting something?" Jonas asks
Merlin and I stop and look at him. Jonas turns, and a green tail trails behind him. I stare at him, as he turns around, I quickly lookup. He was holding Merlin's basket.
Merlin nods "right."
Merlin walks forward and grabs the basket; then we walk out.
We walk back into Gaius's chambers. He walks over to us.
"What did you find?" Gaius asks
"Wait, this was planned?" I ask
"Yes, and something wasn't right in there," Merlin replies. "There was this strange smell, and I could have sworn the Lady Catrina's bed hadn't been slept in."
"Yeah, and there was something else," I say
"Oh?" Gaius asks
"Jonas, as we were leaving, this might sound crazy, but I think Jonas had a tail," I say
"A tail? Are you sure?" Gaius asks
"I can vouch for her, I saw it too," Merlin says
"We could be wrong," I say
