Chapter 73 ~ She's a troll!

Merlin and I took the new potion back to Catrina's chambers. Just as we put the potion back In the cabinet, we hear footsteps coming. There wasn't enough time to leave the room. Merlin grabs my hand and pulls me into the closet. As soon as Merlin closes the door, Jonas walks in.

I look at the cabinet and see it was open. 

I open the closet slightly "Fyrbendum faest." 

The cabinet closes and makes a noise as it latches. Jonas stands up and runs to the cabinet. He stares at it for a bit, then goes and sits back on his table.

Catrina walks into the room "Jonas; it's time for my potion." 

Jonas walks to the cabinet and opens it "Are your plans progressing as you hoped?"

"Yes, and not a moment too soon," Catrina says

Jonas hands her the potion. She suddenly stands up and starts walking to were Merlin, and I are. She stops by the mirror.

"I must admit though that crown will look rather fetching." Catrina says "All that gold and them lovely jewels. 

She chuckles and drinks the potion. And worked because she didn't say anything about it.

"Now would you care to accompany your Queen?" Catrina says

Jonas smiles and grabs her hand; they walk out of the room. We wait for the door to close then get out of the closet. Merlin smiles at me and walks out the door, with me on his heels.

Merlin and I walk back into Gaius's chambers happily.

"We've done it. Catrina's drank the fake potion." Merlin says

Gaius looks upset he stares at us with a blank face.

"What's wrong?" I ask "What's happened?"

"Uther has disinherited Arthur and made Catrina his heir," Gaius says

"So you mean to tell me if Uther dies Catrina will rule Camelot. Not Arthur?" I ask 

Merlin and I were standing on the balcony above everyone. For the crowning ceremony. The priest went through the whole mumbo jumbo of the crowning ceremony. Catrina started scratching her arm. She lifts her sleeve, and there was troll skin on her arm. She started rushing the priest.

"Yes! Just shut up and give the crown!" She says.

Everyone gasps. The priest hands his scroll to someone else and grabs the crown.

"Will you just hurry up!" Catrina grabs the crown and runs away

Merlin and I went through the passages and got into the throne room. I glance at Merlin and see his eyes glow. The door shuts.

"Whatever's the matter?" Uther asks

Morgana walks into the room.

"I'm sorry." She holds her hand up, and one of them was a troll hand. She quickly puts it behind his back "I don't know what came over me. I just suddenly felt so hot. Do you know, I think I need to be on my own." 

"Are you all right?" Morgana asks

Arthur walks into the room.

"Yes, yes, I'm fine," Catrina replies. "Really, thank you. I just..." She points at the door.

"Fyrbendum faest," I whisper, and the door locks.

"Come on! Come on!" Catrina pulls at the door "Open!" She says in a troll voice.

"Let me" Arthur walks forward and sees her hand. He steps back in shock "What's that?" 

Her face started moving and changing. She made some weird noises.
