Chapter 94 ~ The knights of Medhir

We carry Uther into a spare room.

"He should be safe here for now," Arthur states as we put him on his bed.

Arthur sits on the bottom of the bed. Merlin and I sit on the floor and lean against the bed. Morgana was standing by the window, looking perfectly fine.

"Must be the potion Gaius gave her," Arthur says.

"Yeah, must be," Merlin says 

I shake my head and stand up.  I begin pacing around the room in an attempt to stay awake.

"We can't keep this up much longer," Arthur says.

"We're in a servant's quarters. If we leave him, they'll think he's a servant," Merlin states.

Arthur shakes his head. "Not of Morgause see him. We need to get him out of Camelot."

Merlin gives Morgana a look.

"When we got here, there was a cart in the main square, " I say 

"You two are full of good ideas." Arthur smiles.  He looks at Merlin and me. "go look."

Merlin rolls his eyes, and we run out the door. 

We get to a window and look outside and see the cart was still there.

"Why do you keep looking at Morgana like she's the bad guy?" I ask 

"Because she is the cause of the sickness, that's why she isn't sick because she is the cause." Merlin says, "And the only way we can cure everyone is if she dies." 

"How do you know?" I ask 

"The dragon told me," Merlin replies.

"At what cost?" I ask

"We have to free him," Merlin says.

I sigh. "I guess we had to eventually. Let's get back to Arthur." I say 

We turn and see a black knight; he swings at us, Merlin and I duck out the way.

"Astrice!" Merlin says

The knight flies back into the wall. We turn and run back to the servant's chambers.

Merlin walks in first. "They're closing in; we won't get to the cart carrying Uther!" 

We walk over to them.

"That's why we've made this. We're going to pull him." Arthur says

I look down at Arthur; he was on a pile of sheets. Arthur runs to the door and looks out.  He comes back and draws his sword.

"Get down and keep quiet," Arthur says.

Merlin and Morgana hide against the wall next to each other. I draw my sword and stand next to Arthur. The door creeks open, and a knight walks in. Arthur leaps forward and starts attacking the knight.

"Protect the King, get him out of here!" Arthur shouts.

I jump out and start helping Arthur with the knight.  Morgana and Merlin grab the king and drag him out. 

Arthur and I continue fighting the knight, I kick him, and the knight falls against the wall. I grab Arthur and pull him out, shutting the door behind us. We turn and run out to the passage; a knight was about to stab my brother when Arthur jumps forward and slices his back. I come out from the side passage and kick him down the stairs. Merlin continues dragging Uther; I quickly walk forward and help him; we drag him onto the courtroom and shut the door behind us. 

Morgana and I back away. 

"Merlin, help me," Arthur says.

They grab a plank a put it over the door barricading it. They turn and lean on the door.
