Merlin and I were out in the forest with a bunch of other servants. We were collecting wood.

Merlin and I walk up the hill with our wood. Merlin trips and loses a majority of his wood, he looks so disappointed I couldn't help but laugh, Merlin sighs and continues walking. I drop the wood and sit on a log. Merlin sits next to me.

Merlin looks at the smoke in front of us "Hors, beride tha heofinan"

The smoke forms into a horse, Merlin and I smile.

"Unicorn, beride tha heofinan" I say.

The smoke turns into a unicorn.  It fades away, Merlin and I watch the smoke for a while.

"We best get going" Merlin says

I stand up and pick up the wood, suddenly a woman runs and grabs Merlin.

"Did you see it? The smoke. Did you see it?" She asks

"No, I saw nothing." Merlin says.

She looks to me.

"Nothing" I say

"Are you blind? You were right here! It was magic I tell you! There's sorcery here!" The woman says nervously. "We must tell the king"

She runs toward the castle.

"Wait!" I shout

Merlin and I look at each other.  Then I look back at the woman running to Camelot.

"It was sorcery you saw you're certain of it?" Uther asks

"Yes, sire" The woman says.

I can feel Gaius staring at us disapprovingly.

"And you swear this before your king?" He asks

"I swear it" She says

"Perhaps your eyes deceived you." Arthur states "A trick of the light"

"The smoke was alive, I tell you. I feared for my life" The woman says

That was a little excessive it was just smoke like it could harm her.

"I thank you for bringing this to my attention. You're loyalty will not go unrewarded." Uther says

"Thank you, Sire." She says

A knight gestures for her to walk. She turns and walks out with the knight.

"It cannot continue." Uther says

"I will hunt down those responsible father, I promise they will not escape un-punished."  Arthur says.

"No. Stronger methods are called for." Uther says "Send for the witch finder."

The court gasps.

Gaius steps forward "Sire, is it necessary to resort to such measures?"

"The witchfinder is a trusted ally, Gaius. His help will be invaluable" Uther states

Gaius nods "Of course."

The court was adjourned.

Gaius storms into his chambers.

"How many times, Merlin, Olivia. How many times must i drive it into those thick skulls of yours that your magic is a secret to be gaurded with your life." Gaius shouts. "What were you thinking?"

"I-" Merlin sighs. "We weren't thinking."

"Well, think, boy and girl, think!" Gaius says

"It was just a bit of fun," I say
