On Apr. 14, Asa Phelps has passed away at age 100. Nolan lost three loved ones before Asa, Milton, who died when Nolan was 14, and Etch and Griff in 1960 of a gunshot wound.
Nolan remembers Milton as a classmate, and Etch is also the classmate of Nolan, and Griff is not, and he is black.
Asa has no immediate survivors, especially his nephews and nieces. Asa did turned 100 on Apr. 13 one day before he died.
Grady, Ed, Mick, Roy, Fred, Karl and Milt were pallbearers for Asa, and Paul, Bill, Gary and Dave were also attended.
