Kevin and his 26 same grade friends were facing off with Mankato kids, Carleton, Paul, Don, Rick, Allen, Darold, David and John Michael.
All 27 St. Boniface boys and 8 Mankato boys were missing as they were skipping school. The police caught them, and two principals from two cities were upset at them and 35 boys all had a fine of $100 for skipping school, and sentenced to one day at detention.
Nolan and the boys' dads were very upset how they skipped school because of finding a lemon. Although Paul, Grady, Ed, Bill, Mick, Roy, Fred, Karl, Milt, Gary and Dave were watching the news about 35 kids went missing.
