Kevin and Steve are thrilled to hear that a film version of their favorite comic book, Radio Lover Man, is coming soon. Mick is chosen to play Radio Lover Man, and even more excitingly for the St. Boniface Elementary School children, the production moves to their town after seeing a small poorly spelled advertisement in the Magazine. A search is launched for a young actor to play his son, Rodney, the Fallout Boy, and Kevin auditions. Kevin does well, but is rejected because he is too tall. Kevin leaves and acquires platform shoes and a vertical stripe suit, but by this point, the security guard kicked Kevin out, and Randy, Paul's son has already taken the part, albeit reluctantly, and his parents forced Randy to be an actor, although Paul was supposed to be in Our Gang when he was seven years old and was cancelled after that. During the film scene, Robert Blake (or Michael Gubitosi), looks at the exhaust pipe and was black stuff was all over the face, and Paul fights with him, and the guards kicks Paul out. Paul and Jane immediately begin purchasing expensive objects when Randy becomes an actor.

Randy was frustrated not to make a different scene, but was replaced by Don, Ed's son, but the movie is still going strong. Mickey Rooney came by after Kyle, Randy and Don were playing marbles at Kevin's treehouse. The movie is finished and the movie will be next year.

Paul, Grady, Ed, Bill, Mick, Roy, Fred, Karl, Milt, Gary and Dave noticed that Don was the cool actor, not Randy.
