When Marva Lynn wears the lovely dress to the convenience store, she runs into Waldemar's ex-girlfriend, Evelyn Jonas. Evelyn is impressed by Marva Lynn's fashion sense and invites her to come to the St. Boniface Country Club. Marva Lynn, intimidated by the wealthy club members during a game of croquet, works hard to fit in with their snobbish ways. Evelyn and her half sisters Karen, Gillian, Elizabeth, Patricia, Roberta and Susan realized that Marva Lynn was very nice. Along the way, Marva Lynn loses interest in her family and becomes obsessed with both impressing the club members and altering her suit so she comes off as wealthy.
Meanwhile, Paul, Grady, Ed, Bill, Mick, Roy, Fred, Karl, Milt, Gary and Dave were happy to hang out with Nolan, but Marva Lynn, Evelyn and her sisters were playing poker as did the cousins and Nolan.
