It was weird.

But she also couldn't ask for more.

Sana felt guilty of spending her whole day talking with Dahyun on the phone about everything.

Sana felt like a girl who gets embarrassed just because someone said hi to her.

Sana felt cold and giddy and hot when she noticed the boiling inside her after she answered Dahyun's call and hearing her voice for the first time in a call. But she thought that nothing's much better than hearing it up close, face to face with her.

Sana bit back a smile when another fit of laughter erupted from the woman on the other side of the call.

And Sana furrowed her eyebrows when another yawn escaped from Dahyun.

"Alright, that's it. I'm bothering you, you need to sleep." Sana rolled over the bed only to see the clock displayed a 2:17 am and Suho's not here yet.

"It's fine, not that I have so much to do tomorrow anyway." Sana heard her stretching her arms out by how Dahyun's voice shifted.

Her voice...tonight (this morning, Sana rolled her eyes.)

It was something. There was something. One Sana can't explain and even understand. It somewhat sound...domestic.

Maybe her hush tone? Or how hoarse it was? Or maybe how lazy Dahyun sounded that it almost made Sana laugh but decided to go against it when she felt how weak she was. Sana giggled to herself. "What's funny tadpole?" Sana heard Dahyun again, calling her tadpole for...Sana lost count.

"Nothing." She can't help the yawn escaping out of her.

"Oh, you sleepy? Let's end this? I'm sleepy too." Dahyun shifted on her bed and waited for Sana to reply who, was now feeling bad for staying up late up until two in the morning. She really destroyed her sleeping schedule just for Dahyun. Her sleeping schedule that even Suho cannot bother.

Yeah it was weird. As hell.

"See? I told you to sleep...if you could just be a good girl and listen to mommy." Dahyun, without Sana seeing, bit her lip with how it sounded to her. She laugh lifelessly before actually doing what she's told.

"Alright mommy." She jumped into the act and Sana's face flushed before she emit another yawn. "C'mon, tadpole end this call and sleep. I bet you're so tired."

"Am not." Sana smiled to herself before another yawn betrayed her, she stifled a laughter that eventually died down. "Fine, I am. So what?" Her sight traveled across the room and in front of their window wall, it was still dark outside but there were no stars to be seen.

"We need to sleep." Dahyun insist, and Sana agreed quietly--not actually wanting to end the call if ever she had the chance not to (if ever she was not sleepy.)

"I know." She muttered almost inaudible.

The night was cold, but Sana was coated and basked with the warmth of her bedroom, and was peacefully laying down on the soft mattress of her bed, and was drowned to the every sound Dahyun makes across the line. The moment for her was endearing.

"Would I see you tomorrow?" For Dahyun it was a genuine question, but for Sana it was a start of her friend bidding a goodbye...which she doesn't want to.

Sana sighed before answering, "I'll make sure you do." Dahyun bit back a smile after hearing the answer. "Alright, tadpole time to sleep."

"No fair, I'm the only one who can use that name for anyone."
