Dahyun slowly roamed her eyes around her office, the settled and organized things carefully placed all around the room was so oddly satisfying, the empty mug of coffee that was left untouched after she had drank it, and the sunlight hitting her on the face that very afternoon--creating a warm ambiance inside her office--was making Dahyun sleepy. The blinds was never used, she had never used it ever since. The room was illuminated with azure that resembles an unclouded sky reflecting off a metallic surface.

A yawn escaped hers for another time as she stretched her arms out while sitting on her chair. Dahyun purposely stood up from her seat without further argument with herself on whether or not she should at least get a quick rest. She slumped on the couch and yawn again, this time allowing her mind to wander as she carefully lay her body on the furniture, stretching her legs out to the other end of the couch. Finally able to rest after a whole day of working on papers and attending meetings as usual. Adding the major meeting with MK Group and the meeting after that, Jeongyeon did not also let her rest while they're in the car off to the restaurant, the interaction between her and Sana and the little tension, as much as she doesn't want to speak about it, doesn't go unnoticed by the latter that she speaks about it all throughout the ride albeit her boss' furrowed brows and death glares thrown at her.

Dahyun's eyes were about to close, although she had just laid down for a few seconds, when a knock on the door happen making Dahyun jolt out of the couch, a pout forming on her lips all of a sudden because of the interruption, she heard Jeongyeon's voice from the other side. "Miss Kim?" Called her Secretary, and she, the ever so kind Kim Dahyun just puff out some air and told Jeongyeon to come in even though she's so close at throwing hands for getting interrupted at her almost siesta.

"What is it? Come on in." She sat back and wait for Jeongyeon to come in. She heard the door opened.

"You have a visitor." And by that simple words, Dahyun's eyebrows had perked, she doesn't really get that much visitors ever since she started working in the company.

"Well, let them in." Dahyun gestured and stood from the couch just to look at Jeongyeon fully. The latter bowed and exited the room just as a nice built man in a suit, with nearly pale skin as same as her and the uncanny resemblance to Dahyun had got her forgetting about the interrupted siesta from earlier, came in.

Dahyun's own eyes widen as she approached the man welcoming her with his arms wide open for a hug, Dahyun ran to him and gave him a tight one, gently shaking him at the process. "When did you arrive? How did you arrive! I didn't even know you're going back home!" Dahyun excitedly asked him with a wide smile.

"I just got off from the airport." The man was mirroring her expressions making him look much more like Dahyun. They both pulled off from the hug.

"Oh? Why didn't you told me? I could've told someone to pick you up." She guide him back to the couch and they both sat there.

"No need, I already have someone to take me here. Besides if I'd do that it wouldn't be a surprise anymore, right?" The man simply smiled and squeezed Dahyun's hand. The latter still can't believe it, that the man she haven't seen for three years was back in his hometown and was sitting across her. She had miss him so much that the little dismay she had with him when he first left Dahyun in Korea alone just to live somewhere else had already been forgotten by the latter. All matters to her right now is that he is back.

"I'm so glad you're here." She can't help but to say. Having no one by her side for the past three years have been really tough for Dahyun, even though she and her father was not that close compared to her and her mother, she at least wants to have a father figure beside her during all of the drama in their life. But no, he became a coward and just ran off to France and live by himself without thinking of her daughter. What a selfish act to do, Dahyun would always think before, but when she grew older, she now understand her father.
