Tommy gazed down at Antfrost, knowing his friend was dead. He felt a hand on his shoulder and turned to see Dream's bright blue gaze watching him. His hair was golden against the rising sun and Tommy turned to look at Technoblade who was staring at one of the books.

"He's gone." Tommy sighed, standing up.

"Look," Techno said, holding out the book. Tommy took it and narrowed his eyes in confusion as he read the words 'Jschlatt'.

"What?" He said. "That makes no sense..."

"Antfrost changed the words, Jschlatt killed himself instead of me," Technoblade said.

"He saved you?" Tommy said, glancing at Antfrost sorrowfully. Technoblade nodded and placed the book back on the stand. He turned to look around as one person ran forwards and fell to his knees beside Antfrost.

"No..." Bad said, his voice cracking. "I'm so sorry I didn't help you." He said quietly. "I hope you're in a better place now." He said, tears glistening in his hazel brown eyes.

"I bet he is, Bad." Dream crouched beside his friend and patted him on the back reassuringly. "I bet he's chatting with Wilbur right now." He added with a sad smile.

"I'm sorry I didn't help you, I really should have... I didn't know Antfrost would end up like this." Bad said again, wiping tears from his eyes with one of his hands. Skeppy came and sat beside him, resting his hand on Bad's shoulder. Tommy felt someone rest a hand on his own shoulder and was pleased to see Technoblade's bright blue gaze.

"I'm glad we both made it," Techno sighed. "It's a shame Wilbur didn't," Techno added sorrowfully. Tommy nodded in agreement and looked up to see more people staring at him from where they were gathered around George's limp form. Is he dead? Tommy wondered. He squinted and sighed with relief as he saw George's chest rise and fall slightly.

"Tubbo!" He said happily, making his way towards his friend. "We won!" Tubbo's eyes were filled with hurt and he flinched as Tommy rested his hand on his shoulder.

"You won," Tubbo said, his voice cracking.

"What do you mean?" Tommy said, confused. Tubbo shook his head slowly.

"Where was I?" He asked. "Where was I in your mind when you went to Techno for help? Did you at least consider that I might help you too?" He said, searching Tommy's gaze.

"I-" Tommy stuttered. To be honest, he hadn't really remembered Tubbo... or at least when he did he'd thought his friend would have sided with L'manburg.

"I would have gladly fought at your side, I would have thrown myself into any battle for you," Tubbo said.

"But you've always been so loyal to L'manburg, I thought you'd join them. And to be fair you did." Tommy pointed out.

"I've never been loyal to L'manburg," Tubbo said. "Have you not even noticed? Ever since we've known each other I've been at your side, I've been loyal to you my entire life. Can't you stop running after what could be yours and instead just look at what already is? Tommy, I'll still gladly die for you, I'll fight every single member of the SMP for you single-handedly, I just need to know you'll do the same. Can you stop being so self-centered for just one moment, can you stop giving all your affection to Dream, and for once just spend a little time with me? Did it ever cross your mind that I'm the king of L'manburg and yet I'm willing to lose anything and everything just to be your friend?" Tubbo's words hit a nerve in Tommy and he realized how neglecting he'd been to his friend.

"Tubbo, I never meant to ignore you, you should have seen how angry I was when you died, but Dream needed help more than you," Tommy said.

"How angry were you when I died?" Tubbo asked. "Angry enough to kill Dream for me?" He had an edge to his voice.

"Well- yes, I was." Tommy stuttered.

"Then why is he still alive, Tommy?" Tubbo said. "Why did you miss, Tommy?"

"I didn't miss," Tommy said firmly. "Wilbur said to do what my heart said to do and I did it, Phil told me the same, my heart said to aim for the skies, not my friend."

"How can you consider him your friend?" Tubbo breathed, his voice cracking. "You promised he would never hurt me, Tommy! He killed me!" Tubbo cried. "Or have you forgotten already? Wake up, Tommy. Wilbur and Phil are dead, you didn't even notice that your own father died, and you know what? You didn't notice that his assailant is standing directly behind you." Wha- Tommy gasped, turning around. He was confused as he met Dream's shocked blue gaze and then he realized what Tubbo was saying.

"You killed him...?" He breathed in shock. Dream let out a stutter from beside Technoblade who turned to stare at him in shock as well.

"You were too busy caring about Dream to notice me, and now you're too busy with him to notice your father's dead." Tubbo hissed, his blue gaze filled with tears of pain. "All I wanted was a friend, Tommy, where is that friend?" With that Tubbo whipped around, sidestepping around a body Tommy hadn't noticed before joining Fundy, Eret, Sam, Niki, and Ranboo who were all huddled together, staring at Tommy in fear and hurt.

"We will not stand for this, Tommy," Tubbo said, turning back around to face him. "L'manburg is my home and I owe my real friends this much." Before Tommy could say anything Tubbo pulled out a crossbow and fired it at Tommy. He gasped as the arrow made its mark but the victim wasn't Tommy. The victim fell to his knees in front of Tommy and Tommy stared down in horror as he watched blood start to flow from a wound in Dream's chest.
