"What do you mean they're not gone? Is Blue not helping?" Techno asked. Dream felt his old fear rising up inside him as he stared at Techno who currently had dragged him behind a tree in the middle of the forest and was gripping his shoulders.

"N-no, I love Blue." Dream said quickly. "I'm not sure... he helps but not enough that they're completely gone." Dream explained, half expecting to be yelled at or punched or something. Techno just sighed and let go of him, shaking his head slowly.

"I'm sorry, that's tough." He said. Dream relaxed a bit and nodded as Techno looked back up at him. "Why do you still wear that? Everyone has seen your face." He asked instead, nodding to his mask. Dream shrugged.

"I like it I guess." He muttered.

"You don't have to wear it, it looks uncomfortable," Techno said.

"I thought we were talking about my dreams, not my mask." Dream said self consciously.

"I know," Technoblade said. "Just wondering. If there's anything I can do, let me know." Dream was thankful Techno wasn't upset with him and he followed him back through the woods towards the little town. "Do you like having no government? Tell me the truth." Techno asked after a moment.

"It's a lot more peaceful, I have to say." Dream shrugged. "I'm not sure everyone likes it though."

"The ones that don't seem to think I'm their leader." Techno snorted. "That's not what I wanted." He added.

"You kinda are." Dream said, making his way towards his house, which he was currently sharing with all the former L'manburgians and Technoblade. No one was inside so he settled down on his bed. "Should we tell Tommy?" He asked after a moment.

"I don't want to scare him." Techno sighed, sitting down across from him on his own bed. The entire house was now cramped with beds and Dream was eager for them to move out so he could finally be alone. Blue scampered up to him and he smiled, petting him as he leapt up beside him.

"Hey buddy." He said, scratching the little dog on the head. "I really think we should, if he finds out by himself he'll be even more scared of me." Dream said to Techno.

"Then we'll just make sure he doesn't find out." Techno shrugged.

"I'm not so sure that will work." Dream said. "He's a smart kid."

"More or less." Techno joked, smiling. "What would you do if I was a little bit insane and I was having dreams of killing you and everyone you loved?" Techno asked.

"I'd ask why you wanted to kill yourself." Dream chuckled. "Because you and Tommy are the only one's I love. Oh, and Bad, Sapnap... ok, I'd be a little scared." He said again, scratching the back of his head. "You don't dream of that, right?" He asked tentatively. "It's just me?"

"Yeah, I have dreams of potatoes usually." Techno snorted. Dream chuckled as well and let out a sigh of relief. "If he finds out you tried to kill him like three or four times and that you dream of killing him and everyone he cares about I guarantee you he'll be scared."

"Ok..." Dream sighed. "Let's not tell him then. And to be fair I was about to put down the ax when you came in the room." Dream added. Techno smiled sadly.

"You have no way of proving that I'm afraid." Techno sighed. Dream lowered his gaze and nodded. I guess he's right. He thought.

"Should I leave?" Dream's gaze jerked back up as he spotted someone watching them with wide eyes. "I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to-" Tubbo was cut off as Techno grabbed him and covered his mouth. Tubbo stared at Dream wide-eyed before glancing up at Techno.

"How much did you hear?" Techno asked, letting go of him but moving a bit to the side to block the door.

"I-" Tubbo stopped himself, glancing at Dream fearfully. He hadn't spoken to Dream since he had killed him and Dream didn't blame him. "All of it..." He muttered, his eyes still locked onto Dream's white mask. "Please don't kill me!" He begged, flinching as Dream stood up. He knows. Dream thought.

"You can't tell Tommy." Dream hissed. "Or anyone. We're not going to kill you, just please don't tell him. I don't want to scare him."

"I won't, I swear," Tubbo said quickly, glancing at Technoblade who had said nothing since he'd grabbed him. "C-can I leave?" he asked tentatively.

"Do not tell anyone," Techno warned, stepping out of the way. Tubbo said nothing and made a dash for the door as if expecting to be stopped if he went too slow. Dream felt all his strength leave his body and he slumped back onto the bed, resting his head in his hands. "I don't think he'll tell, you'll be fine," Techno promised, patting Dream on the back.

"Oi!" Dream jerked his head up as Tommy burst through the doors and at once he dreaded what he was about to say.

"Tommy, listen, Dream won't-" Techno started.

"Why was Tubbo so upset? He wouldn't say a word to me!" Tommy growled. "What's going on?" Dream felt bad not telling this to Tommy but he couldn't risk losing his friend's trust. Soon another person entered the house looking around in confusion.

"What's going on?" Wilbur asked, looking from Tommy's frustrated expression to Dream and finally to Technoblade. "Is everything alright?" He added.

"Everything's fine, Will," Techno assured him. "Tommy's just a bit upset with us." He added, nodding to Dream.

"If you don't tell me, I'll make Tubbo tell me!" Tommy growled.

"Tubbo doesn't know anything, don't torment him." Dream said quickly, standing back up and heading for Tommy and Wilbur. Tommy glared at him and Wilbur took a step back. Dream knew Will didn't trust him, he never had and Dream doubted he ever would. "Tommy, this is just stuff for grown-ups, alright? We're not trying to hide anything from you, Tubbo just overheard us talking." Dream explained.

"But you are hiding something from me! And Tubbo isn't even an adult!" Tommy retorted. "If he can know, why can't I?"

"He wasn't supposed to know." Dream said. Wilbur and Techno had left as Techno was trying to explain what happened without giving away what was really going on leaving Tommy alone with Dream. "Tommy, listen, you can't know everything." Dream sighed. Like why these visions keep happening and why they won't stop. Dream mused.

"I know, I know," Tommy growled, seeming to calm down a little bit. "I'm not an idiot, just please Dream, tell me what's going on?" Drema stared at Tommy, he wanted to tell him so badly but he knew if he did Tommy would never trust him again. He'd be afraid like Tubbo and Wilbur already were, and frankly everyone besides BadBoyHalo, Skeppy, Antfrost, George, Sapnap, and Technoblade. The former L'manburgians all feared him and had wanted him to be shot by Tommy when he was supposed to be.

"I'm sorry," Dream sighed, shaking his head slowly. Tommy stamped his foot and whipped around, his fists clenched.

"Fine, tell your secrets to Tubbo and Techno, I'll just be over here trying to figure them out." He snarled, storming off. Dream opened his mouth to say something but thought better of it and sighed again, closing the door.

'That was hilarious.' Dream froze as he heard a voice, hoping it was just Technoblade and not another bystander.

"Uh, what?" Dream said, turning around. He could see no one although the voice seemed to be coming from right beside him. "Who are you?" he asked tentatively.

'It's me, you're old buddy? You and I, we exchanged something. Knowledge for power, remember?' The voice said ominously. Knowledge for power... Dream froze, realizing who this was and realizing why he couldn't see anyone.

"Jschlatt." He breathed.

Yep, that's why the cover of the book had Schlatt, because... Schlatt. ok, go read some books or write some books or something. bye :)
