Louisiana's POV

I was at a park, it was dark out and I was on my phone trying not to think about how others are dying rapidly. Tears were streaming down my face, I was scared because I felt like I was next and I don't feel safe anywhere, not even home right now. I look around, some people walked down the path not acknowledging me and I sighed listening to music to try and calm my nerves and it was kind of helping but not really. I looked at the small forest by the park and saw someone watching me and I quickly shoved my phone in my hoodie pocket and got up and started walking home. I walked quickly but I didn't run as to not alarm others walking by or others in cars driving by and also to look normal and not look like I just stole something from someone or a place.

I sighed a little and soon slowed down walking at a normal pace now but I was still a little cautious though. I kept looking around Incase if anybody was stalking me or if anybody was acting suspicious. I let my guard down when nobody seemed or acted weird and calmed down some, I kept walking home and the streets and sidewalks soon became empty. I heard footsteps behind me but I thought nothing of it then my shoulder got grabbed and a metal thing got set on the back of my head. "Times up Louisiana~" a man said from behind me and I froze then a bullet went though me head and I collapsed onto the ground everything going pitch black.

I woke up and I felt like something in the back of my head was missing and I felt the back of my head. There was a hole in the back of my head where I got shot and I froze in place just feeling the hole, blood was dripping from it and it scared me honestly then I shakily stood up and put my hand back at my side then I hesitated then started back on my way home.
