Minnesota's POV
I coughed harshly and starred at my hand, it was cracked and I think I caught what Illinois had when he died. I was scared and dad was with me, I hugged him tightly and he hugged me back gently like I was fragile. I looked at dad who was sobbing, I felt weak and my grip loosened my head resting on dad's chest and I shut my eyes resting. I have been like this for a few hours parts of my body numbed but I felt too weak to look at what was happening then dad sat my on his lap and I felt a tear on my hair. He rubbed my back gently as I felt my leg get lighter until I felt like nothing was there anymore and it spread onto my thigh then I forced my eyes open and looked. My eyes widened as I saw that nothing was there and black cracking was on my thigh then tears were quick to form then dropped onto my cheek.
I looked at dad using the strength I had and I looked at him as he sobbed, he new that he couldn't do anything. I felt my right foot start to fade same with my fingers and I heard cracking sounds, it sounded like an iceberg cracking and my head fell limp as I too started sobbing. My body got lighter as the minutes passed and dad kept sobbing more, I felt bad for him, I felt bad because I couldn't stop it and neither could he. I sigh slightly and shut my eyes the as the cracking started spreading more quickly and soon I faded away my heart hurting as I heard a cry out from dad.
