"That's the plan," Techno raised an eyebrow as they explained to him what Sam had told them. "Trap him in a mysterious realm none of us know about?"
"It'll neutralize his powers and the Nether Demons there should see him as one of them," Sam said, "I know I've just got here, but this is the best option."
"Won't he be able to escape," Phil asked.
"Theoretically, no," Sam said, "he hasn't gone through the same changes Nether Demons have. So once in The End the only way out will be through the portal I create."
"That's a lot of 'maybes'," Techno said, "say this doesn't work, we should still plan for the worse."
"I agree," Drista said, "Tommy knows us too well and shouldn't be underestimated."
"What if we try talking to him," Tubbo said, "perhaps the Tommy we know is still there. He's just angry and confused."
"I'm sorry Tubbo, but I don't think that's the case," Drista said, she turned to Sam. "This portal, what do you need to make it?"
"I already have everything to make it," Sam took out a small circular object that looked like an eye had been painted in the middle. "The hard part is finding where the next portal will be able to be opened." As he placed the eye on the map where the manor was located it stood up on its own and started spinning. It eventually moved to the edge of the forest, he placed another one at the southern edge of the map and it moved to the edge of the stream.
"There," Sam pointed at the spot in between the two eyes. "That's the general area. You have till moonset to find and get Tommy there."
"I can do that," Clay said, but he glanced over at Tubbo. "Although it would be nice to have someone who can fly."
"Huh, yeah of course I'll help," Tubbo said. Ranboo poured the potion into two small vials and put wax on them. He handed them over to Clay and Tubbo.
"I don't know how long those will last so I would suggest don't take it until you find him," Sam said as Clay put on his mask.
"Understood," Clay nodded and he and Tubbo then left.
"This End place, what is it like?" Phil said, he wanted to know what he was getting Tommy into.
"It's exactly what you'd think hell would look like, but a lot more barren and it's an island floating in the middle of nowhere," Sam said, making wide gestures with his hands. "There are huge columns made of lava and fire."
"So about that back up plan," Wilbur said, looking over at the steaming cauldron. "What do you think would be the effects if Tommy drank the potion?"
"Wouldn't it neutralize his powers as well," Ranboo said, he started to think back to Tubbo insisting that their Tommy was still there. "He wouldn't be influenced by the thoughts of us and the manor."
"It's not going to work," Techno said, folding his arms. "You're talking about attempting to get the old Tommy back, but you and I both know that's not going to happen."
"That doesn't mean we can't try," Ranboo said, the spell hadn't been specific on what would happen because it was experimental and had never been used on a human, or demon, until now.
"People get hurt when you try to do something with a large chance of failing," Techno said, "Why do you think I didn't act on my opinions until now? Because I had done the math, I had run every scenario in my head. Everytime, I would have failed, either by Drista or the council."
"Can I talk to you for a moment," Phil asked Drista, Techno's comment had confirmed his beliefs on exactly how dangerous Techno could be.
"Of course," She walked out with him, leaving the others to begin to argue over whether or not there was a way to get Tommy back.
