"My nerds! I have returned!" Technoblade said. "We gather here beneath this random rock because I have something important to share with you. While me and my squad were chopping down some trees, we came across a band of four young people. They will stay with us for the night until we figure out how to handle this properly." Squeesh and the others all gave Technoblade a nod of approval and went to greet the other people surrounding them.
"New people?" Tommy hissed from beside Technoblade. "The last new person ended up killing you, are you positive this is a good idea?"
"Yeah, really Techno?" Dream added, his blue gaze uncertain.
"I'm not sure yet, but guess what, they're all Tommy's age." Techno grinned as Tommy's gaze lit up and he grinned. "And two of them are women."
"Yuck." He snorted, rolling his eyes. "What about the other two, what are their names?"
"Sawyer and Fishy," Techno said. "The girls' names are Squeesh and Fox, Squeesh is the one with the white suit and Fox is wearing normal clothes," Techno said, nodding to the two girls. Squeesh was standing alone while her companions chatted eagerly with the other people.
"Is she wearing a mask?" Dream muttered, squinting down at Squeesh.
"It's fabric attached to each side of her hood." Techno shrugged. "So kinda."
"Huh," Dream narrowed his eyes. "I'm gonna go to bed." Techno had built some dirt shacks for everyone to sleep in temporarily and Dream headed for one of them, still staring at Squeesh.
"Can I go talk to them?" Tommy asked hopefully.
"Tommy, you're a king now, do whatever you want," Techno rolled his eyes. "Unless it involves death! Do not do death!" He called as Tommy headed away towards Sawyer and Fishy. "Alright! You nerds can chat in the morning! I'm heading to bed." He said, turning towards the same hut Dream had entered. He still wasn't convinced Dream's nightmares had gone completely although most of the time he looked fine.
"Why is she wearing a mask?" he was startled to see Dream sitting up on his bed, his eyes narrowed in thought.
"Why were you wearing a mask?" Techno said. "Does it matter? Maybe she just wants to hide her face." He said. "You know, like you?"
"I wore a mask so that if I killed someone and someone else saw they'd report what my mask looked like. Then I could just take my mask off and they'd never know it was me that killed the guy." Dream muttered. "And because it looked cool," he added with a shrug.
"And why didn't I know about this?" Techno snorted, slumping down on his own bed.
"Because you never asked." Dream shrugged, laying back down. "Where's Tommy? The sun's completely set now."
"Hanging out with the new teenagers." Techno chuckled.
"Kids these days," Dream scoffed, rolling over. "Night,"
"Goodnight," Techno closed her eyes and it wasn't difficult to fall asleep for him. He was already exhausted from chopping trees from noon to night and now with a soft pillow under his head, staying awake would have been impossible.
"Techno, Techno, Techno, Technoblade, Technoblade, Techno, hey Technoblade, Techno-" Techno slapped his hand over Tommy's mouth and groaned.
"What do you think you're doing you annoying little-" He started.
"Hey Techno?" Tommy asked. Technoblade rolled his eyes but didn't interrupt his brother. "I'm gonna go hang out with the new guys and Tubbo, bye." Techno sat up, exasperated that Tommy had woken him up for that.
"Tommy, once again, you're a king now, you do not have to ask me permission to hang out with your friends." He grumbled, rubbing his eyes and looking at Tommy.
"I know," He grinned and Techno felt even more annoyed. "But you're funny when you're angry."
"You know what's not funny? What's not funny is when I'm angry and I have a sword in my hand, alright?" Techno slid out of his bed and yanked a netherite blade from his armor stand, pointing it at Tommy and grinning. "Still funny?" Tommy grinned back at him and turned around, heading for the door.
"Alright, goodbye sleepy head." He snorted.
"Goodbye, Mr. Alarmclock." He muttered, putting his sword back and yawning. The sun was already above the mountains by now but it wasn't yet at its peak and Techno glanced around once he was outside.
"Morning." He was startled as he saw Squeesh standing only a few inches away from him and he flinched backward. "Finally awake, huh?"
"I thought you were supposed to be with Tommy," Techno muttered, feeling embarrassed that a little girl had scared him.
"Yeah, I said I'd catch up." Squeesh shrugged.
"Why don't you show your face?" Techno asked, recalling Dream's comment last night and holding back a shudder.
"Because it's cooler not to," Squeesh shrugged again, leaning lazily against one of the dirt walls to Techno's hut. "So you're the king, right?"
"Right," Techno said. "Tommy and Dream are somewhat kings," he added with a shrug.
"So you have the most power though, right?" Squeesh said.
"Uh... right?" Techno said. "Technically yes." he realized.
"So who would get leadership if you died, Dream or Tommy?" Squeesh asked. Techno hesitated.
"Uh..." He said. What kind of a question is that? He thought, his eyebrows creasing in confusion. "Well, I'm not dead yet, right?"
"Are you a good fighter?" Squeesh said, changing the question.
"I'd say yes..." He said. "What are you getting at here?"
"How about when you're tired." Techno shrugged, a little unnerved about this girl's strange questions.
"I dunno honestly." He forced out a laugh. "I mean, probably not as good-"
"Alright, got to go," Squeesh said, turning on her heel and bounding into the woods where Tommy and the others must have gone.
"Strange girl..." He muttered, scratching the back of his head. "Hey, George! Tubbo! Can you come help me figure out where the houses should go?" He called, ignoring his earlier conversation. Tubbo and George were in front of him in moments.
"Sure," Tubbo said. George nodded and they headed off towards L'manfield. Why would she need to know if I was a good fighter while I'm tired? He thought. That's a really strange question...
First chapter, done. I hope you like it so far, and if you have no idea what's going on it's probably either because I'm not doing a great job at writing or YOU DIDN'T READ THE OTHER TWO BOOKS. And THAT is not my fault. Anyway, what is the matter with Squeesh, and what kind of a name is Fishy? Lol. Fishy's a friend of mine, that's his nickname. OK, drink lots of water, wear your seatbelts and helmets, and be kind :)
