Trinity (Dream SMP) Book 3

Chapter 10

This chapter is basically just Tommy and Squeesh hanging out a stream. if you want you can skip it, you won't miss anything. It's more of just a cute moment than an actual thing building up to Squeesh's big diabolical plot thing. 

"Where have you been? You vanished after Dream left." Tommy remarked as he spotted Squeesh talking to Tubbo a few paces away. "Hi Tubbo," He added. Tubbo turned around his eyes sparkling.

"I'll leave you two alone." Tubbo snickered. Tommy resisted the temptation of smacking Tubbo in her perfect little teeth and tried his best not to blush as his friend wandered away. 

"What's his deal?" Squeesh snorted.

"Uh- I- not sure." Tommy stuttered, cursing silently at himself for being so awkward. 

"Well, you wanna go hang out, or should we just stand here for the rest of the day?" Squeesh said after a moment.

"Oh! Yes, yeah." Tommy said quickly, nodding towards the woods. "Umm.. the stream?" He suggested. He heard Squeesh let out a quiet laugh and Tommy felt his face redden even more as he led Squeesh towards the stream. 

"So, tell me about yourself, king Tomathy," Squeesh said once they'd made it to the stream. Tommy watched the water flicker silver in the sunlight. Fish darted around every here and there and Tommy felt a little relaxed at the pretty sight. 

"Well, I used to belong to a country led by my brother. It was called L'manburg and it was... amazing." He sighed. "But it changed and then my brothers tore it down."

"Brothers?" Squeesh said.

"I have two brothers. Technoblade and Wilbur Soot, but Wilbur's dead now. He broke his neck trying to defend Dream from a guy named Schlatt." Tommy explained. "He's the one who started L'manburg, Techno was never a part of it."

"Then why is he king? Shouldn't it be you?" Squeesh said. "I mean, if he was never part of it." 

"Tubbo was king, he challenged Techno to a battle and said that the winner could do whatever they wanted to the other side," Tommy said. "Techno won pretty easily and decided not to kill the others. He started a new kingdom with more freedom and less war, I don't know what we would have done otherwise. He had to destroy L'manburg just to prove a point."

"I didn't know that..." Squeesh said, trailing off after a moment. "Nevermind." She said quickly, looking back up at Tommy. "You know, just for future... um.. just so you know in the future, I'm not really the leader of my group. Sawyer is, he just said I looked cooler as a leader than he did." 

"Uh, ok," Tommy said, confused as to why he would need to know that. "Well, now I and Techno are your kings, not Sawyer. You're an official member of whatever Techo's going to name our kingdom." Tommy said with a smile. He held out his hand for Squeesh to shake it and after a moment she did.

"Thanks Tomathy," Squeesh said. 

"What happened to king Tomathy?" Tommy snorted, grinning.

"Eh, got old." Squeesh snickered. 

"Hey, you know what?" Tommy said, realizing something. "You now have two knees and two kings, kneel," Tommy said, giving Squeesh a triumphant look. She stared at him for a while before she actually did kneel, leaving Tommy a bit bewildered.

"I guess it was meant to be." Squeesh shrugged from down on one knee. I guess it was meant to be? Her words echoed in Tommy's mind, leaving him a bit more confused. Tommy gathered himself after a moment and helped her to her feet. "But..." She said after a moment. Tommy stiffened, staring into the white mesh deciding her face from his. He swore he saw a flicker of amber but maybe he was just imagining it.

"But what?" He said slowly. He let out a yelp of surprise as something slammed into him and he started falling back towards the stream. Realizing Squeesh had pushed him and reached out and grabbed her wrist, dragging her backward with him. He grinned as she stopped laughing and yelped as well and soon they were both flailing around in the water.

"What was that!" Squeesh gasped, letting out a laugh as Tommy looked at her.

"That was called justice," He snickered. 

"Oh stop it," She hissed slapping her hand on his head and forcing him under the water again. Tommy started laughing as well as he snorted water out of his nose. Tommy smiled happily, he wished he could freeze this moment and relive it over and over again. Only Tubbo had ever made him this happy before.

"What, never heard of a little revenge before, woman?" Tommy hissed, grinning.

"This is no way to treat a lady." Squeesh scoffed half-jokingly. Tommy suddenly remembered his chat with Niki and stiffened. Should I be shoving her into the water and calling her 'woman'? He knew Niki's answer would be no. Her answer would be a definite no, he should not be treated Squeesh like a brother. You know what, forget Niki, I'll treat a woman how I want to treat a woman. He knew that would end with Niki scolding him but he didn't care. 

"This is no way to treat a lady?" Tommy said, splashing Squeesh once more. She sputtered water and started laughing.

"How dare ye!" She splashed him back and soon they were in an all-out water fight, yelling and laughing as they drenched each other, as if they weren't wet enough already. Eventually, Tommy made his way back onto the shore and helped Squeesh out as well, still laughing. Tommy stared at her for a moment as they laughed. I wonder if her face is as pretty as her voice. He mused as their laughter slowly died away.

"You win," He snorted. "You can be queen of the creek." He did an overly dramatic bow and Squeesh chuckled again. 

"I like you, Tommy, you're funny," Squeesh snickered, helping him back to his feet. He smiled.

"I like you too." He said. Before he could stop himself he gripped Squeesh in a tight hug and after a moment she hugged him back. I like you a lot. 

If you chose to skip the chapter, the only really important thing was Squeesh telling Tommy that she wasn't the real leader of her gang, Sawyer is, and she seemed a little hesitant after Tommy told her more about Technoblade as if she regretted trying to kill him... maybe... k, drink your water, wear your seatbelts and don't be a simp. I dislike simps. BYE :D
