Tommy woke with a start as his alarm clock began to blare. Well, it's not really an alarm clock. Tommy thought, chuckling as he looked up at Tubbo.

"Get up! Get up! Get up!" Tubbo was shouting while shaking his shoulders.

"I'm tired." Tommy moaned. "Just let me sleep." He sighed.

"It's Squeesh's birthday." Tommy opened his eyes as Tubbo stopped shaking him and reluctantly slid out of his bed.

"Right." He muttered, stretching and scratching the back of his head. "Leave me alone, I need to get dressed." He said, shoving Tubbo towards the door. Tubbo laughed and opened the door, shooting Tommy a goofy look before leaving. Dork. He thought, rolling his eyes.

Tommy was holding a punch of purple and white flowers, he had learned that Squeesh's favorite color was purple and he knew she liked white, he could tell just by looking at her white clothes. He spotted her in the distance, she was talking to Fishy and Fox and Tommy found himself wondering where Sawyer was.

"Hi Tomathy," Squeesh said.

"Hello," Tommy said, nodding to her. "These are for you by the way." He said, handing her the bouquet of flowers.

"Awww, thanks Tommy," She said, taking the flowers happily. "I'll go put them in my house for now."

"Alright, want to meet me at the stream?" He asked. Fishy and Fox grinned at Tommy and turned away and Tommy felt himself blush a little at their expressions.

"Sure thing, see you there," Squeesh said, heading away towards the little house she was sharing with Fox. She vanished into the house and Tommy hurried away towards the stream happily. Tommy sat down on the log he usually sat on once he had made it to the stream and let his feet dangle towards the water. He had taken an ax and cut away some of the branches above the stream making it sunnier and a little better looking. He had also planted a few flowers and cleared the brush so that it looked nicer and was easier to walk through. "Hello," Tommy looked up from the water as he spotted Squeesh.

"Happy birthday." He said with a smile.

"Thanks. Now I'm officially as old as you." She mused.

"I'm still older." Tommy pointed out. "By a few months, I turn seventeen this year." He said.

"Well, we're equals for now," Squeesh said. "Other than the fact that you're supposedly my king."

"Supposedly?" Tommy snorted. "What's that supposed to mean?" he narrowed his eyes and grinned.

"It means I still don't respect you," Squeesh snickered.

"Oh come on." Tommy rolled his eyes and looked up. "Do you like what I've done to the place." Tommy indicated to all around them and Squeesh looked around, falling silent.

"Wow." She said.

"I for one think it's-" Tommy started.

"It's sad how much free time you have," Squeesh snickered.

"Seriously?" He snorted.

"I love it, I'm kidding." Squeesh chuckled, looking back at him.

"Well thanks," Tommy said. "I don't really have a gift, I didn't know what you could have possibly wanted, but I hope this and the flowers are enough." Tommy sighed.

"Of course it is," Squeesh said. "This is far better than any gift, thank you Tommy," Squeesh said, sounding sincerely pleased.

"At least everything seems to be going pretty well," Tommy said. Then he frowned slightly. "Other than Dream trying to murder my brother." He sighed. He didn't want to believe Dream had done such a thing but all the evidence seemed to point to him and Tommy had decided just to accept it. "That's kinda a bummer... Dream was one of my closest friends." Squeesh fell silent for a moment, staring at Tommy from behind her fabric mesh-type mask. She glanced around after a moment before letting out a long sigh.

"Tommy, there's something I need to tell you," She said reluctantly. "Something I hope won't ruin things between us..." She added stiffly.

"You can tell me anything, we'll always be good friends," Tommy assured her. And maybe someday more than friends. He thought. Squeesh shook her head slowly.

"Whatever happens please just..." She trailed off. "Just have mercy." She said.

"Just tell me, you're scaring me," He chuckled nervously. Squeesh looked at him.

"Me and my group came here to destroy you and your kingdom. We were going to do it from the inside, starting with killing Technoblade and causing you and Dream to fight over leadership. It was me that tried to kill him, not Dream." She confessed. Tommy felt his mouth fall open slightly in shock. "I'm so sorry, being here with you... it changed my mind about this whole thing and now I don't think I can do this anymore. This lying." She hissed. It was her? His mind filled with dread as he stared at Squeesh, obviously looking very scared.

"You did it?" He breathed, feeling suddenly as if he were in danger. "You tried to kill my brother and got Dream exiled, just for... for what?" He hissed, a little angry.

"Tommy, I'm sorry, it wasn't my plan-" Squeesh started.

"To destroy this new kingdom?" He said. "What do you think would happen to you and your friends if I told my brother about this?" Tommy growled. Squeesh stared up at him, seemingly at a loss for words. "You know what..." He sighed, forcing himself to relax slightly. "I won't tell him. I can tell you're sorry." Tommy said. Squeesh looked as if she were going to say something when her head tilted slightly as she gazed at something past Tommy and she froze.

"You don't need to tell your brother, don't worry." Tommy heard a growl. He turned around at once and standing with two fire in his blue eyes and a very angry expression on his face was Technoblade.
