Tommy followed Technoblade and Dream through the snowstorm that was brewing. He had no idea how Techno was going so fast through the snow and how he seemed like he knew every stretch of barren landscape but he assumed it was because this was just where he had lived for a while. Squeesh was walking at his side although both of them were doing a lot more stumbling than walking.
"Are we there yet?" Tommy grunted, shivering as an especially large snowflake landed on his nose. Why would anyone choose to live here? He thought, letting out a yelp as he vanished into a snowbank. He heard someone let out a chuckle above him and after a moment of flailing around Squeesh helped him up.
"Careful," She snickered. "You clumsy oaf." The moment she put one foot forward she too stumbled and vanished into the snow. Tommy burst out laughing and Techno and Dream turned around, looking confused. He eyed the snow for a moment before reaching down and helping Squeesh back up.
"Now who's the clumsy oaf?" He sneered, grinning at Squeesh. She muttered something under her breath and continued onwards.
"We should be back in the trees soon," Techno called over his shoulder.
"Good because I'm freezing." Dream grunted. He and Techno were making a path through the thick snow and it was easier for Tommy to move forwards, although he still stumbled every once and a while. After what seemed like ages of almost freezing to death, they finally made it to the oak forest and Tommy hugged one of the trees at once.
"Oh how I've missed you," He sighed. "Warmth, oh lovely warmth." He added happily.
"Ahhh," Squeesh said, hugging the same tree from the other side. "Your hands are frozen solid." She observed. Tommy hadn't even noticed that they were touching because he couldn't feel a thing.
"That's because they are." He snorted, letting go of the tree. "I'm frozen." He shivered.
"I can warm you up," Squeesh snickered, gripping him in a tight hug.
"Hey! Get off me!" He growled, grinning as he tried to fight her off him.
"You warmed yet?" Squeesh asked.
"No, you're just making me colder! Get off!" Tommy said, struggling again.
"Not until you're warm!" Squeesh chuckled. Tommy tried his hardest to free himself and eventually he just gave up, allowing her to hug him. He heard two people begin to laugh from behind him and realized Dream and Technoblade were watching them.
"Alright, get off! I'm warm!" Tommy cried, struggling again. Squeesh let go and started laughing as well. Tommy felt himself blush and he shot Dream and Techno a glare.
"You two are cute," Dream snickered.
"No we're not!" Tommy snapped, dropping his gaze as he began to blush some more. "Be quiet." He growled, turning around.
"You are so awkward," Techno chuckled.
"I said shut up!" Tommy roared, whipping around to shoot his brother a glare. Techno just grinned at him some more as they headed away. After a moment Technoblade took the lead again and led them up the hill that held Phil's demolished cabin. They all hesitated for a moment as they passed it before continuing and Tommy felt his anger ebb away.
"What's this?" Squeesh asked.
"It was our father's house." Technoblade sighed. Tommy nodded. "He's dead now, and his house had been burnt as you can clearly see."
"Oh, I'm sorry," Squeesh muttered.
"Yeah..." Dream said awkwardly. Squeesh seemed to put two and two together and stared at Dream for a moment before moving on and following Technoblade away. After what seemed like hours, the sun began to set and Tommy could just make out the small cobble and wood houses that made up their village. He had to admit it looked a lot nicer than L'manburg had. He could just make out the rock in the center of the field and hurried forward, noticing people had gathered around it.
"Nerds!" Technoblade yelled once they were close. "I have news!" he bounded forwards, climbed up the rock, and took his position at the highest point overlooking some very baffled people. Tommy and Squeesh headed out with Dream a few paces behind them. Tommy could tell Dream was slightly afraid as people started muttering and gasping. His steps were hesitant and his gaze flickered from side to side as if he expected someone would attack him at any moment.
"Why is Dream here?" Someone called.
"Where have you been!" Another said.
"Squeesh explained a few things to me and now I know what really happened. It wasn't Dream who tried to murder me, the name of the one who did is not important right now, because I need a few people to be brought up here. Fishy, Sawyer and Fox." At once, Sam, Tubbo, Sapnap, George, Skeppy, and BadBoyHalo all went forwards and dragged the three struggling kids forwards. "Would you like to confess before you're sentenced to death?"
"Confess what!" Sawyer cried, struggling against Sam and Tubbo's grasp.
"You know what I'm talking about, your whole army and your plan of taking over my kingdom," Techno said, his eyes narrowing.
"What?" Fox said, looking genuinely confused. Tommy glanced to his left, about to shoot Squeesh a look that said 'Gosh, why won't they just admit it?' but when he turned she wasn't there. "We would never do something like that! We just wanted a home!" Fox said.
"Please don't kill us, we have friends and family, we were going to bring them here to join your group once we made sure it was safe," Fishy said.
"Just admit it," Technoblade growled, skidding down the rock until he was only a few inches from Sawyer's face.
"I don't know what you want me to say," Sawyer whimpered. "I swear."
"Squeesh said you were all good liars," Techno sighed, taking a step back. "I just didn't expect you'd hold onto your lies this long." Suddenly as Technoblade opened his mouth, probably about to order his soldiers to kill the three kids, something clicked in Tommy's mind and he realized something. He'd been tricked.
Where in the heck did Squeesh go. Why are these kids still lying? Are they lying? WHERE IS THAT SQUEESH CHARACTER? This is probably my last chapter for the night so post in the comments what you think is going on. >:) If it's not then... yay?
