Past part-9 Unexpected talk.

Chapter-34

Surya's POV:-

I pinched my bridge if my nose, closing my eyes, I leaned against my car seat. The ride to my dad's home is silent and when the big magnificent building came to my view.

  I left the passenger seat when we reached and reached to back seat and opened the car door. My sister stepped out and pecked my cheek as she left inside.

   I glanced at her, the woman who stole my mother's place as she smiled at me. I looked away from that woman and entered inside the car.

      "Take me to my apartment." I told David and watched him nod his head before I leaned against my car's window.

"It's okay even if you don't love me but please...please don't make fun of my love and hurt me by saying mean things. It hurts Surya.." Her words rang in my ears. I can feel the anger in myself.

     What sin did I do to deserve this punishment? What sin have I committed to go through this pain. "What happened?" I heard David. "Nothing" I mumbled. "Why are you hurting yourself Surya? It's clear you like her." I heard David talk and looked at him.

        We never had this type of conversation... Which involved our feelings, I can see some glint I have never seen in his eyes. "Surya... Time is precious with our loved ones... Your father was like a pet dog to your mother in the initial days of their relationship but you were born... He stopped coming home, it is not like he cheated on her and I knew he loved her... Alot... She was his only dream and whatever he is now... Is to show off infront of your mother that he can make her proud... And to say he is capable of taking care of her and matching her status.

       "Your mother was a woman not to mess with and to impress her even though they are betrothed, your father wanted a relationship with her that is not of his parents, which is pure and is full of love. At first it was hard to handle both, but your father learnt that both his professional and personal life are important to him. Eventually they had a great relationship that till date everyone admire but...

        "After you born, things have changed, he have became too busy in the underworld he neglected our business, he neglected your mom and you, it isn't like he didn't love her nor he is not interested in business, he just wanted to invest a fear before focusing on business again. But your mother misunderstood him and accused him for losses on the business, though he did wrong but your father's words fell deaf to her ears when he said about what he did to their business and how he ignored both of you.

He loved both of you, he still does with all his heart, he didn't realise what is happening to you and your mother, they fought... They fought so much that your father used to stay back either in Cruise ship or in our office just to avoid your mother, I was there with him all the time. But he nevertheless listened to her words of taking care of business but by then, the distance.. the distance was so big that they stopped talking.

       "Your mother tried to reach him many times, but the anger towards your mother was so bad. He is an egoistic man. Later when he realised what actually was happening... It was too late. They wasted precious ten years of time with their sarcasm and stupid fights over one other. Suddenly one day your mother coughed blood. That was the day everything changed... For your father who used to be strong... He became a weak man. The fact that he is so powerful yet he couldn't save his wife...

          He wanted to take her to abroad for better treatment, your mother don't want to go because she wants to spend time with you both. That day your father and your mother got into another fight and angrily he left abroad to deal work... The very same day your mother lost her life battling the disease. Trust me he tried to come as early as possible but the storm... He can not even see his loved one and touch her for one last time... He till to date regrets not being with your mom Surya..

     Life is like that only. When the person is near us we take them as granted and we don't give much importance to them but when they are gone!! The pain will eat you up and you will have nothing in your hands by the end except pain, grief and guilt.

     You are doing the same... If you love her and when you know she does too, nothing should stop you. I know your father is the reason behind your reluctance to have her but trust me you will regret later if you don't settle this now. And then you will end up more miserable than your father. He atleast have memories to live with unlike you." David stopped talking and it took sometime for me to digest everything he told me.

         "Chalo, we are here for what like 10 minutes since we reached. I have to go back to your father, we have something to discuss." David said and nodding I got out of the car and watched as he left in my car.

           Am I really doing wrong by ignoring Vanya's feelings?

Can't I fight that man for her?

I can... I will!

Adwait's POV:-

I entered inside my home and sat in the sofa. My fingers itched to text her so I picked my mobile.

'Hey, how is it going there?'

I sent her a text and immediately I got a reply.

'Vanya shut herself, she is not talking to me and asked me not to disturb her . So I came out casually'

I read her message and thinned my lips.

'Want to come over to my place? We can discuss about what to do next and may be can hangout?' I texted her.

'Hangout? What is cooking Mr. Singhal? ;)'

I gulped looking at her text but nevertheless smiled when I saw the wink in the end.

'Fine, just text me the address.'

I saw her text and my heart skipped a beat and smiled at her message.

What the hell is happening with me?

Guys, so the thing is I am hurt, very deeply. You all are reading but not voting and commenting. So I am not able to get whether you guys are liking it or not!
