Chapter-37

Surya's POV:-

David's words imprinted my mind. I just can't imagine my life without Vanya! And certainly can never imagine her with any other male specimen!

I sighed and entered inside the exam room and completed my exam.

I was casually walking to my place canteen with my friends when I saw that....

A bloody asshole is hitting on Vanya and The both girls are unaware of it. I can see a group of assholes laughing and giggling among themselves watching them and Vanya is obviously oblivious to everything around. He is eyeing her and all I saw is red.

"Someone else proposed her on the same day and they both got together. I loved her? Yes! But I did waste my time."

David's words rang in my ears and the urge to kick that bastard infront of me grew more!

That's the last straw of my patience before I went towards "GET THE HELL AWAY FROM HER YOU BASTARD." I screamed at him and saw  Vanya gasping when I threw a punch on that boy's face.

"WHAT THE HELL SURYA-" I cut her off and dragged her out of the cafeteria.

I dragged her to the back of the college and pushed her against the wall. She glared at me as I  looked at her angrily. I pinned her both hands to her sides as I  came near to her. "Dare I see you with any guy, next day you will find their dead bodies." I angrily whispered and Vanya huffed at me

"Why do you care? Why it is paining you so much? You don't like me right, get lost, I am not going to listen to you." Vanya angrily said to me and I was baffled at her words.

"Say na! Say why it's paining you alot to see me with other guys? What the fuck is your problem?" She asked me

Should I tell her?

"Because..." I started and for some reason I couldn't breath. "Because?" Vanya asked raising her eyebrows at me. "Because I LOVE YOU"

"Vanya... I love you..." I breathed hand and joined our foreheads and cupped her cheeks... Then kissed her forehead... my inside fluttered when I saw her closed eyes... She is beautiful... My heart is ready to explode as I confessed what I am feeling for her...

"Fuck! It's becoming hard.... I am sorry I am so sorry for making you cry but. But it's all for your safety! I am so sorry Love! I am so sorry Señorita. Just don't leave me... Vanya! You don't know how hard it was for me... There isn't a day when I haven't thought about you and when I saw you here...." I said in a soft and I felt her wipe the corners of my eyes and then only I  realised I am crying.

I looked into her eyes and saw her eyes expressing love, pain and vulnerability for me...

How I am this lucky to get her in my life?

I still can't belive this is happening! I looked at her and saw her wet lips. Something started like a burning sensation in my heart... I don't want to look away even for a minute... I just want to keep her with me... Closely and never leave her hand...

"Umm... You really love me?" Vanya asked me shyly playing with her dupatta. I chuckled looking at her. I cupped her face and kissed her forehead again. "More than you ever... In fact anyone can imagine. My heart is engraved with your name on it Vanya Subramanyam... I have tried not to fall! But alas! I realised I have already fallen for you... Long back... Now... tell you love me too!" I said and Vanya smiled through her tears making my heart go wild at her. Her presence is affecting me more than I thought.

"I love you Surya Rajput"

Her these words hit my ears and I felt breathless... Even though she proposed me earlier this.. this is something I need now. To know that she loves like I do.

I joined our foreheads and.closed my eyes and breathed into her perfume which soothed my soul.

"Say it again." I whispered softly.

" I love you"

"Again." I said.

"I love you."

"Again."

" I love you Surya Rajput... Alot! I love you to the infinity and I love you till my last breath..."

I smiled hearing her words and pressed a kiss on her forehead tightly.

"Done?" I heard Adwait's voice and turned towards him. I gave him sheepish smile and he lunged at me and gave a small punch in my stomach before hugging me.

I saw Jhanvi talking to Vanya and felt my heart warm up as she shared how I confessed grinning ear to ear.

"Stop looking at her like you are going to eat her." Adwait said and I rolled ky eyes at him.

"Hey! You should know that now I am her elder brother. You should behave nicely with her else you will end up in hospital!" Adwait warned and Surya raised his eyebrows at him.

" And now Jhanvi is also my sister. Mind your behaviour too. Else you won't land in hospital." Surya deadpanned. By now they caught Vanya's and Jhanvi's attention as they looked how adorably their men are.

"Then where?" Adwait asked in confusion.

"Directly to grave." Surya said smirking as he saw Adwait eyes widened in saucers. "I won't." Adwait mumbled looking at Jhanvi to which she smiled.

"Now now. If you all are done being cheesy can we go and eat something? I am hungry." Shanaya entered the scene whining as she did so.

"At this rate you will become a baby elephant- No! Scratch that you will become a mumma elephant Shanaya." Adwait said snorting making the other chuckle.

"Don't bother yourself Hippopotamus" Shanaya growled making the other crackle up.

The both started bickering and Surya's eyes found Vanya's... As if in instinct she tuned towards him and shyly smiled at him taking his breath away... Hope that smile on her face... Stay forever. He thought grinning at her like a fool which he never did it with anyone before.

If only he knew... What was waiting for them!
