" And one day you were gone just like that and never came back into my arms.."
~Anya.Chapter-55
Author's POV:-
"Wine, chicken wings and a chicken Biryani." Dhruv ordered to the waiter.
It is one of those days where he claims to love himself by drinking wine, eat his favourite food and enjoy himself in different restaurants all over Delhi.
"Anything else sir?" The waitress asked and he shook his head. She left taking the notes.
He suddenly heard the loud voice of few men who are drinking and eating.
No soon a young waitress approached him and kept his food on his table as is about to pour wine and serve him when he stopped her. "I can do it myself." He said and dismissed her. He served himself food and was eating when he saw the very same young waitress getting bullied by the men on the other table. He is watching chewing slowly as they first held her hand. His eyes lingered there few seconds as he slowly sipped the wine.
He saw one of the guys touching her butt and clenched his jaw. He saw the owner who also happens to be a woman coming to her rescue only to be bullied by them. He saw one of them trying to touch her butt and pull her by waist again when he got up and left towards them.
"Leave them." Dhruv said standing there with a calm expression.
"Else? What will you do? Trying to act like cool and a hero? An alpha male?" One of them snorted making Dhruv chuckle.
"Well." He mumbled and took his gun out and pointed it on the man. "Now." He mumbled but their grip only increased. Dhruv eyed at the fork on the table. In a swift motion he took the fork and snatching a hand of one of them he stabbed it on a man's hand making him cry out loud.
The restaurant is barely filled with four tables and they already earned so much of attention. But he could careless.
He snatched the waitress hand who jumped at his touch. The men stood baffled as he took another fork narrowing his eyes on them.
They understood what he meant and ran away taking their injured friend.
"Thank you." The owner said and Dhruv sighed nodding his head.
He left the waitress hand and left the restaurant. He was in parking lot when he saw the waitress rushing to him now changed into different clothes which are shabby and baggy.
Her hair now in a a high ponytail. How did she manage to change so fast?? He thought and raised an eyebrow at her.
"Tha- thank you for earlier." She mumbled panting for air.
He nodded looking at her with calculated eyes. "Your name?" She asked and he raised an eyebrow at her.
"Woh.. actually I want to pray for you in temple. So tell me your name. It's for good. For helping me." She stammered.
"Dhruv" he mumbled as he watched her keep a strand of her hair behind her ear.
"Yours?" He asked trying to ease himself from the awkward situation. "Aisha..." She mumbled looking at him.
"You know that this is a bar and restaurant... You look young... Why are you even working here? This is the age for you to study" he stated and watched her fidget. "It's okay if you don't wanna talk." He added.
