Author's POV:
Looking at her reflection in her mirror. She buttoned her white shirt and tucked it under her formal pants. Her face contains no emotions opposite of her heart.
A shiver runs through people who directly sees her into her eyes with coldness. The woman is no longer the mother she was with her kids few minutes back. Now she is all business no shit talk mode.
She took the blue formal coat and wore and buttoned it down. With no formal make up she kept her diamond studs. She wore her flat formal leather shoes and adjusting her coat for one last time she stepped out of the room. Jhanvi followed her from back.
She fetched the car keys. The driver bowed to her to which she nodded and sent him away.
She sat in the driver seat with Jhanvi accompining her next which passenger seat. Both women are in business mode.
Today Mrs.Niyati and Mr. Vasudev are handing their company to their heirs.
They invited for the meeting as she is needed there as a share holder. Parking the car both women stepped out of the car.
With every confident step she is taking shiver is running down in the spines of people present there despite their gender and age. Many employees greeted her.
Entering in their private elevator they reached their office floor. Disappearing into their respective offices.
At exact 10 the doors of their offices opened. Coming out the rooms and started driving to the venue.
In the middle they are struck in office. While on the other hand.....
Surya's POV:
" Surya! Come here!" Vanya screamed looking at me. "What sweetheart?" I asked nuzzling her neck. " Nothing. Just wanted be with you... In your arms." She said and I smiled at her.
"Hmm getting comfortable in my arms are we?" He asked cockily. " Well why shouldn't I when they are mine?" She asked and her grinned.
" Don't go away Vanya.. I can't leave you. It will kill me." I begged her. She removed my arms from her. " This is your mistake Surya. You pushed me away..." She said and started moving away from me... I am not able to move becuase of unknown reasons. "Vanya please don't go."
"VANYA..."
I gasped the dream repeated again. I looked at the watch and it shown 9. I went washroom and did my business. Got ready in my formal dress. Today is the day where I will be getting the contract with Mr. Vasudev. Also today is the day is handling his buissines to his son Abhi.
Just one last night here and I will never step in Hyderabad again. I sighed and watched the time it's 10 now. Adwait came and we both left for the work. It's been one week and nothing changed except callender. The pain is as fresh as that day my thoughts and emotions are having a inner conflict forcing me to do something bad to myself by one thing stopped me doing that like what if he was there just to help her?
This one thought is enough for me.to keep myslef sane but the rational part of me knew that even if the world ends and we both only survives then also she won't talk to me...
But here mistake isn't mine but still I needed presence. If only she haven't done something like that we would have been a proper family but now with kids!
I sighed again thinking about past... When days used to roll like anything even boring... I never thought those simple yet boring days will be turning to beautiful memories. Atleast I was there with her... In my arms looking at the dawn and dusk. Atleast there was someone for me to call mine and mine alone. But now? I became a lone wolf trying fight with my own self and in the mean time getting hurt pretty bad both emotionally and mentally pushing myself into trauma.
Soon we are in parking lot and then in elevators of the Mr. Vasudev's office. The coldness is now back on my face and is all business with no personal thoughts. My shoes are hitting the marble floor creating a rythm .
We were guided to a meeting room and sat in our seats. I have major share in their in their business and now going to work with them because of a project. Apart from me there are more 10 business men waiting for the meeting to start. This like a board meeting now.
After seating comfortably Mr. Vasudev came along with Mrs. Niyati and her husband. I guess they are collaborating their companies.
Though everyone are arrived two seats are empty. I frowned at that. "As you guys are arrived for whom you are waiting?" Asked Mr. Basu.
"For someone who is very important. Arey they came." Mr. Vasudev said and the door burst open. " Sorry gentlemen was struck in traffic." I heard that familiar voice and saw Adwait tensing visibly.
I gripped the chair tightly and turned to see them . She walked towards her seat even without glancing at her surrounding. She passed my back and Jaanu followed her. I fisted my hands and looked at her.
Nothing changed except her aura... Which is as cold as her expression and might send chills too. Here every bastard is looking at her as if she is a meat. I picked the board and they looked at me. I gave.them glares and Mr. Vasudev cleared his throat. That's when her beautiful eyes landed on me.
My breath hitched at that moment. Her eyes fixed on my face. They widend a bit and Jaanu too. They both are shocked and " Let's start the meeting gentlemen" they said and started talking like how they started their companies and now it's all in their heirs hands. And then I signed the contract and her signing too.
The meeting ended and then I saw Jaanu stealing glance at me and Addy while all the time Vanya is busy in her phone..
She got up and looked at Jhanvi. "Let's leave." She said. Her voice... It's been seven years since I heard it. They both left and we too left to the parking lot. All the while Addy is looking at Jaanu while she is also doing the same . Except Vanya who is showing indifference. "Long time no see Ms. Vanya Subramayam." I said and she turned to look at me and again I am lost in those eyes which pushes me into the universe and makes me drown in them taking my breath away..
