Chapter-44

Vanya's POV:-

I looked at the wall clock and it is nearly ten. Surya forced me to take a day off today saying we will go out together somewhere.

But...but..but that asshole of my boyfriend went out saying he has someone to introduce to his father and here I am all ready to leave.

The clock crossed ten and I slowly stepped outside and met the maid who serves me everything. She looked at me horrified and I suddenly heard a laugh.

I peed down to see Surya, Akshith uncle and a man. He has white hair and white beard which is long enough to make a small pony. I chuckled at my stupid thoughts. Being with Surya is bring a new side of it. Which is energetic that I never was in my entire life. Looks like being with your love brings a side of yours that you never knew before that exist.

I took a huge breath and is going back to our room when I heard Ananya. "Bhabi." I heard her looked at her and smiled. Picking her in my arms we both went to our room. "Do you know who is that man?" She asked and I shook my head in no. After what felt another half and hour a guilty Surya appeared and Ananya left the room when Namrata aunty called her.

"Sorry, shall we go now?" He said and I sighed and got my handbag. I slided it around my frame and walked out of the room bumping my shoulder with him. I heard him chuckle and I shook my head. After bidding uncle and aunty bye we left.

"Sorry Love. That you had to wait" Surya apologized again and I sighed. "Who is that man though?" I asked fastening my seat belt. Surya grinned at me showing off his white teeth and cute dimples taking my breath away.

"He is my mother's brother" he said. "You have a mamu?" I asked and he nodded. "But you never mentioned anything about him though" I said now getting curious. As far as I know, Surya's grandparents lived alone in Hyderabad and they never really told us about them having a son. I know it's not necessary for neighbours to exchange such information but we used to be so close until their death. I vaguely remember the time that they both came to Delhi and got into an accident. Since Surya and his family is here it is quite understandable why their bodies were not back to Hyderabad.

It was the year after Surya left or so. "Even I didn't know. When I went to my buisness trip he popped out of nowhere and he looked quite like my Dadu. He introduced himself to me and showed his picture with my mother and me, when I was few years old." He said as we drove through the busy roads of Delhi.

"How come he appeared suddenly? Where was he all the time? Did he came when your mother expired? How come your grandparents never talked about him-" "Detective Vanya Subramanyam. Even I met him yesterday and he insisted to meet dad, one of the reason why I brought him here." He said.

"And darling stop asking these many questions. Tell me where you want to go?" He asked now taking my palm in his and kissing my fingers as his eyes stayed on the road. I smiled at him and looked at my hand in his. "Wherever you take me Gangstar." I said still glancing at our entwined hands.

"Okay my little Hamster." He said which snapped me out of my romantic zone. "I am not Hamster. What kind of Nickname is that!" I exclaimed taking my hand from his.

"Okay my little Hamster, no need to get all riled up." He said smirking at me.

"Asshole." I mumbled looking away.
