" Lost in the path... I realised that you are my destination."
~Anya.Chapter-49
Author's POV:-
Life can be critical when it have to be. No one can tell what happens in the minute of life.
We all have that one point in life where we get tired of listening. Tired of explaining your point. Tired of everything.
Vanya is in that moment now.
She called Adwait last night and asked him to drop her at college. He without any question obliged to get request. She woke up early in the morning and did her chores. Got ready to go to college and without even waking Surya up to tell him that she is leaving.
She reached downstairs and found Adwait with Jhanvi. They both are having worried looks. That's what like seven in the morning. But the college starts at eight thirty. So they are going pretty early.
The ride to their college is a very silent one. It was very uncomfortable that at one point Jhanvi just want to yell to stop the car and step out of it and have a good breathing exercise because Vanya's pale face with a bruised lip that she didn't care to cover is bothering the both alot.
They can sense her distress.
"You fought with him?" Jhanvi's voice brought Vanya back from her thoughts. "He is saying that I should stay home all the time and never go out by myself. It has been happening from past one year Jaan! What am I? And what the fuck is all this? I know I have to be a bit understanding but he have to be too. It is not like I am going to people and begging them to kidnap me! Is it my mistake that the man I loved turned out to be dangerous... I never signed up for this Jaan. It is so scary!" Vanya said now sighing. The car stopped at their college.
"Vanya Surya, me and his mamu met yesterday and we were with him when you called. We were drinking and-" "what is the reason to drink tell me exactly?" Vanya asked folding her hands.
"Surya meeting his mamu?" Adwait rather questioned his statement making Jhanvi roll her eyes.
"You have to be protected Vanya. He have so many enemies and-" "And what Addy bhaiyya? Make a prison na! It would be better! I am not complaining! I am just saying that it's not my fault that people have their eyes on me! I am an easy target I know but that doesn't mean I have to be caged right?!" Vanya exclaimed.
"Sometimes it would be very hard to find when things go wrong Vanya. These people don't have mercy. Some even can rape you worse kill you. You don't know about all these so Surya is just worried about you. You were to be shipped to Chile yesterday if we were a tad bit late. And that too we reached you early because of Surya's mamu, Surender uncle. If he wasn't there we would probably had lost you. That made Surya angry and I don't know what he had said to upset you this much but it was alcohol speaking and not him." Adwait said sighing when he saw tears in her eyes.
"He wouldn't have accepted me at all if he felt I am a burden to him. It is only making me feel worse that he is being helpless in my matter." Saying so Vanya left the car followed by a very upset Jhanvi trailing. "Your friend knows how to mess up." Jhanvi mumbled before leaving making Adwait sigh.
On the other hand, the morning disturbing sunrays hits Surya's face making him groan. He rubbed his eyes and watched the time on his bed side to table to see it's eight thirty already and woke up with a jolt.
