I squint my eyes, it does seem foggy but it could also just be my glasses.. "It would seem so.."
"How long do you guys think we'll be running?" I ask. They thought about it for a minute "I'm not sure" Kurapika answered. Leorio just ignored the question
"Hey, Leorio! Kurapika! Y/n! Killua says we should all move up to the front of the pack." Gon shouted. "You idiot! If I could reach the front I'd be already be there."
"Go ahead, we'll meet you there!" Kurapika yelled back. "That Gon, doesn't he feel the tension around here?" I scoff. Killua, huh? So that's what the kid's name is...
"This is bad, with this fog we can't tell which way we're going."
"Will we even make it?" I sigh out. "It's okay. As long as we don't lose sight of the guys ahead of us."
"What happens if they lost sight of the others? Then we would be lost with them!" I say. I guess I should take off any heavy clothing...it's only my sweater tho.

Strawberry's started circling us. "Strawberry's? What is this" I yell out. A man walked out, he looked as if he was being pulled in. Then the was actually pulled away

Everyone started freaking out, running away as fast as they could. But there wouldn't be no point, their necks are long so they could easily catch us.
1 Then 2, 3 and 4 surrounded us. 2 Of them found us "Damn! What should we do?" I scoff. Leorio grabbed a branch, as if it can kill these giant tortoises
One of them tried to take hold of Leorio, but that branch made it harder for the Noggin to eat him. "L-Leorio!" I shout out. Kurapika and I jump up, he pulled out what to seem to be wooden chucks, and I pull out my Kusarigama using the Fundo

"Hey, Rei?" I pull his sleeve. I point to a weapon on his wall

He smiled walking up to you, patting your head. "That there is a Kusarigama. Used in the Muromachi period, it's an older weapon and it's not common anymore" He explained
You stared in awe. 'It looks so cool' You thought. That made an idea pop in your mind "Uh-Oh. I know that face..."
"Could I train with that? pretty please?" You basically got on your knees begging for it.
A few years later you were a pro at it. You knew exactly how to use it. But being a teenager and having losing interest you switched to Guns.
"Y/n, I rarely see you train with that Kusarigama I gifted you. Where ever is it?" Rei set a cup of tea down in front of you
You sighed "I'm already good at it. So I decided to try something new I guess" You shrug
A few months later, you picked it back up. Training like there's no tomorrow. "Hah."
You quickly turned around "What are you 'Hah'ing at?" You groan. "You've been training again." Rei smiled
"You did say you were already good at that. Why pick it up again" He smirked. You groan louder "I-I didn't want to lose my touch is a-all!" You stutter out, which you cursed yourself at that.
"I...I guess I just want to train as much as I can" You admit. "You've trained yourself to death! Look at you." Rei made an up and down motion with his hand
"What?"
You were covered in dirt and sweat. Most of all, your whole body was shaking. "You haven't been eating properly"
"W-Well I guess I want to train myself to death then!" You snapped at him.
Maybe the exhaustion has gotten to you to snap. You rarely spoke or even got angry at Rei, you were too grateful for him.
Rei sighed. "Just take a break, alright?"
You stayed quiet and nodded. "I'll see you inside hun" He waved

It is a pretty short chapter... But I figured, we should get to know your past in this story. What was it like, and what kind of character you are.
I think it's a good idea? Maybe?
Idk. I like to take it slow for the romance to emerge, and I hope it's not a big deal
