Chapter 19: Infiltration

"Fine. I'll help her. But what do I get out of this?" Ava asked.

"You'll win" Sebastian said simply.

"How can you assure that?" she asked, skeptical.

"Do you really think I'm going to lose?" he asked.

"This dude used to say, cockiness is not good" she said.

"But you ignored him" Sebastian said.

"Were you spying on me?" Ava asked.

"You just don't seem the type to listen to a dude" he said.

"Ugh fine. I'll help" she said.

What's the plan? Ren thought to herself, should I wait for Sebastian, or do things on my own?

She looked at the lady, who was still under her control.

Did he find information on her or not? What do I do with this random woman? she thought.

Shapeshift into her, her conscience said.

And then what?

"What do you want me to help you with?" Ava asked.

"Find information on this witch. She's in her mid- forties, I think, she's brunette and-" he began.

"Do you not have a photo of her?" Ava asked impatiently.

"I am not a creep!" he said, exclaiming.

"Hey look! That's her!" he said, pointing at the lady walking towards them.

"If you are going to use her, won't you at least lock her up?" Ava asked, annoyed.

"Ren was supposed to do that" Sebastian said, scoffing.

"I am Ren" the lady said, rolling her eyes.

"Oh."

"I know her by the way. The name's Esther Brown. She had come to Andrea's coven meeting or whatever that was, hoping to get in. apparently she was shunned by her coven" Ava said.

"This is perfect!" Ren exclaimed.

"Yea, yea whatever" Ava said, sounding a little bit salty.

"What are you so salty for? You know you want to help" Sebastian said.

"I will take you to Andrea" Ava said, "and Blair".

"You do that and I will find someplace to sleep. Or someone to kill" Sebastian said and just like that, he disappeared.
