I just finished singing when Gally climbed up the tree to sit next to me. "Are you alright? You sound so sad when you sing." He asks softly.

"Yeah sure, it's just... I wish I remembered where I even knew the songs from." I reply staring at the walls.

"Wherever you came from, you knew how to make pizzas." He says chuckling which makes me giggle.

"Alright maybe I've been born and raised in a restaurant." I reply jokingly.

"You should know that, everyone likes you Summer. You bring a lot of joy in here." He says smiling.

"I try my best. You've been here three whole years, have you never thought about anything beyond there?" I ask looking at him.

"No. Anything out there is dangerous." He says.

"Or are you scared to leave the only place you remember?" I ask back. He looks down. "Don't worry, I am too." I reply.

"It's not that easy you know, I know this is not home, and that we can't live here forever but..." he stops and looks up again.

"But?" I ask softly placing a hand on his. He looks at it and turns his hand around to grab mine softly.

"But maybe I'm scared." He sighs. "Sounds stupid doesn't it?" He asks. "I don't even know why I'm telling you this."

"Because you trust me, and I like that. You should talk to someone ever so often. I'm scared too Gally." I reply. He looks at me and smiles.

"Yeah but you're a girl. That's normal, it's normal for you to be scared." He says. I poke his arm.

"Boys can be scared too Gally, it's not something you should be ashamed of." I say.

"Maybe the reason I'm talking to you is, because the others would make fun of me for being scared, you would never." He says. We look into each others eyes.

"You're right, I would never." I reply. We break eye contact and stare back at the wall. My eyes become heavy and I feel like falling asleep slowly.

"Hey, Summer..." Gally ultimately picks me up and that's the moment I completely fall asleep.

I wake up to see pure darkness around the glade. I'm in my hammock though. Did Gally bring me here? I look around to see everyone sleeping. I get out of my hammock and walk a little while. I arrive at the forest and sit down against a tree.

"Oh good, you're up." A voice sounds from behind a tree. I look for someone and smile when I see Gally. "Don't worry, I wasn't stalking you." He says. "I wanna show you something."

I follow him to one of the walls. He's holding a torch which he places in the ground. "This is the wall with all our names on it." He says. Some are crossed.

"What happened to them?" I ask pointing to those names. He sighs deeply and rubs the back of his neck.

"Let's just say, we weren't always safe. But maybe it's time to put your name on there as well." He says giving me a chisel. I take it and sigh.

I try to carve my name in the but it wouldn't really work. Gally starts laughing softly. "Instead of laughing you could help me!" I say irritated.

He holds his hands up in defense and walks to behind me. He places his hands on top of mine and guides them. The feeling of his touch makes me warm inside. We finish my name and he backs off.

"Easy!" He says smiling. "Almost too easy to not be able to do it!" He adds.

"What do you want to say with that?" I ask walking alongside him back to our hammocks.

"That you messed up on purpose for me to help you." He says smirking raising an eyebrow.

"What? No I would never!" I reply laughing softly.

"Oh no? Well I guess you just did. Why else would you mess up such an easy job? You wanted me to touch you." He says dramatically putting a hand over his mouth.

"Oh yeah, alright. Touch me!" I say sarcastically but he grabs my hand and pulls me closer to him.

For a second we just stare at each other since we're pretty damn close. "I think I may have touched you." He says seriously. We both burst out laughing and he lets go of me. We get back to our hammocks and get in. I can see him still laughing from my hammock.

"That was the weirdest thing ever!" He says catching his breathe between laughs. I smile at the ground.

But I can't stop thinking about it. It felt warm when he guided my hand, comforting while holding it in the tree yesterday and it felt even better just seconds ago. I don't know but this game were playing is slowly getting onto me.
