Odell
"Oh, Honey. You look so handsome" I rolled my eyes as I stepped into Demi's living room, adjusting the jacket of my tux. I've never worn a tux and I never thought I'd wear one, other than eventually on my wedding day. My mom pushed herself up from the couch and headed straight for me. I could see that her eyes were beginning to well up with tears. "You've grown to be such a handsome young man. I'm so proud of you, Odell."
"Thanks, Mom" she leant to peck my cheek.
"You nervous?"
"It's only prom, Mom" she lightly laughed. I turned at the sound of tiny footsteps and I smiled as Lani stepped into view.
"Delly, Demi's a princess" she smiled up at me, bouncing on the spot. She had wide eyes that were filled with excitement. "She really pretty" my heart rate suddenly increased and I could feel myself getting excited too.
"What about me, Lani?" I glanced up as Marissa spoke.
"You pretty too" Marissa's lips twitched into a smile.
"Thanks, Beautiful" Lani giggled as she leant back against my mom's legs. "Demi's just grabbing her heels" I nodded, rubbing my palms on my pants as I felt them beginning to sweat. "You're just going to fall harder for her when you see her" I rolled my eyes at Marissa's smirk but I couldn't deny that she was probably telling the truth. It doesn't take much though. I have fallen so much harder and faster for Demi than I ever thought I could fall for someone. It's insane.
The sound of footsteps on the stairs pulled me from my thoughts. I moved out into the entrance hall with Marissa, Lani and my mom behind me. My eyes travelled up the stairs, stopping when they landed on Demi. My mouth slowly dropped, my heart-rate increasing at the beauty descending the stairs. She's a goddess. Her giggle pulled me from my stare, my lips tugging into a wide smile as our eyes locked. She was wearing a dark blue dress that matched my tie perfectly. The dress was tight around her chest but flowed perfectly around her hips and down to the floor. She does look like a princess.
"Baby, you look beautiful" she stepped up to me, even in heels, she was still inches shorter than me.
"Thanks" she glanced down at herself, her cheeks a light pink. I cupped her chin between my fingers and lifted her head up. She giggled as I leant to delicately kiss her lips.
"I love you."
"I love you too" I pecked her lips a final time before Demi was pulled into a tight hug by my mom.
"Sweetheart, you look gorgeous, you both do" she smiled over at Marissa who smiled back. "Okay, let's get some photos taken" I rolled my eyes as my mom pulled out her phone.
"Mom..." I tried to protest, Demi giggling beside me.
"Come on, Babe. It'll be nice to have some photos" I sighed which just made Demi laugh harder. There is no way I can argue now. I'm taking these photos.

"Just ignore them" I lightly held Demi's chin in my fingers and turned her to face me.
"I am ignoring them; it's just they keep staring at us and I wish they would stop" I leant to brush my lips with hers.
"They're just jealous, Baby" she lightly giggled, her fingers continuing to run through my curls. My hands were sat on her hips as we swayed along to the music that filled the hall. "I'm glad you talked me into coming tonight. I wouldn't have wanted to miss this sight for the world" she laughed louder as my eyes ran down her chest and to the valley between her breasts.
"You're such a horn dog" she lightly hit me on the back of the head.
"Can you blame me when my girlfriend is this gorgeous and sexy goddess?" her eyes rolled, the smile on my face widening at the light red tint that covered her cheeks. The music suddenly quietened and everyone turned to the stage where Mr Atkins stood. I wrapped my arm around Demi as she leant herself back into me.
"Good evening, Students. I hope you're all enjoying tonight so far" the hall filled with cheers. "I have in my hand, the results of who you have voted to be your prom king and queen" the cheers once again erupted through the hall. Mr Atkins lightly chuckled as he undid the envelope. "This years prom king, voted by you, is..." I pressed a kiss to Demi's temple causing her to glance back at me with a wide smile. "Nick Jonas" the cheers erupted once again, our eyes turning to the group of populars that had all crowded around Nick, slapping him on the back and congratulating him. Nick made his way up onto the stage, this smug smile spread across his face. He's such an entitled ass. "And your prom queen this year is, Marsha Thomas."
"You're my queen" I whispered; my lips pressed against Demi's ear. She giggled, her hands running over mine that were now resting on her hips. She turned to face me, her hand running along my neck, her thumb lightly caressing my cheek.
"And you're my king" I lightly laughed, leaning down to brush my lips with hers.
"Can the new prom king and queen please make their way onto the dance floor?" we turned back to face Nick and Marsha, who appears to have a little baby bump. Maybe she didn't get the abortion after all. I locked my arms back around Demi and watched the two dance for a moment before I turned Demi to face me and followed everyone else to the dance floor. Demi's fingers ran into my curls, my hands clasping together behind her back as we once again swayed to the music. We didn't care about anyone else in that moment because to us, we were the only two people in the world. The world had slowed around us as we swayed to the music, staring intently and lovingly into each other's eyes. Her eyes held my heart captive and I couldn't ever imagine myself not loving her.
