Chapter 12

When Jack got to my house he was completely sobered up. We went straight to my room and say there in pure silence for a good hour. I picked at my nails and he played on his phone.

"Do you remember when we first met?" He asked breaking the ice.

"Of course." I answered.

"That was the best day of my life. Honest to god." He said.

"You know that I love you more than anything right?" I asked him looking into his eyes.

"Yes. Savannah, I know I over reacted. It's just I love you way to much to lose you." He started.

"I know, I know." We put our heads together and I put my hand where his hair meets his neck. He liked it when I played with his hair. I did it quite often actually.

"Please kiss me baby." I did what he asked of me. I felt so much relief leave my body and I felt love and butterfly enter like the good times.

"I love you Jack Harley." I said smiling. I pulled him on top of me and he kissed me.

"I love you more Savannah Harpin. I'll never leave you again." He said. My bed never felt so comfortable. Happiness was the only word to describe my emotions right now. I had my baby with me and we were alone. What else could I ask for.

All of a sudden we heard yelling down the hall coming toward us. Joey busted open the door. It scared Jack and I. Jack sprung off me thinking it was probably my mom.

"Oh look. It's the love birds. Remember Sav baby when they used to call us that." Joey said.

"Don't call me that ever again." I said.

"Oh yeah sorry I forgot. You know what though. As I was watching TV in the basement. I was remembering things that we used to do back in Oregon." Joey said. He was going to bring up everything from my past. This was it.

"Joey please don't. Please don't be vindictive." I begged.

"Oh what? No one knows about how we had sex. Like all the time." He said looking directly at Jack. I looked away ashamed of myself.

"Savannah?" Jack looked at me. I couldn't look at him with out wanting to kill myself.

"Joey please!" I begged again.

"Oh shut up you dumb whore you loved it. Jack she is a screamer. She loves it when you go hard. She does anything you ask...or maybe that was only for me." He said. He was the biggest bastard I have ever met in my whole life.

"SHUT UP!" I yelled.

"Savannah! Is he lying? Please tell me he is lying!" Jack said. I looked at him. I hesitated before answering him.

"I wish I could." I said. Zack and Kyle dragged Joey out of the room to leave me and Jack to talk. Jack didn't have much to say though.

"Why...why would you ever let that...THING touch you?!" He yelled.

"No please let me explain! You don't understand. At the time he was my boyfriend and I trusted him and I...I...I don't know." I said with tears rolling down my face.

"What I understand is that I was your rebound Savannah." He said. I heard the anger and hurt in his voice.

"That's not it at all!" I yelled back.

"Then tell me Savannah what this was all about!"

"What do you want from me?! You wanna hear I had sex with him FINE! I had sex with him! I don't know what else you would want from me though. I have been nothing but loyal and good to you!"
