This is why I Fell for you

Chapter1

It was my first day at my new school and I was nervous as hell. Considering that it was a catholic school that context is a little ironic. I just moved from Oregon and when I say New York is different I mean it! Sure kids drink and do drugs, but it's really rare that kids do it. Here almost everyone does it. Every age, every gender. I don't and nether did my old friends. As I wondered the halls I didn't wonder where my classroom was, I wondered why the walls were grey. It was a dull school. Grey walls, black lockers and the uniforms were as boring as the walls. It was a grey skirt with a white blouse and a navy blue sweater. The knee socks were optional and you had to wear black shoes. I wore flats the first day. The first day was also when I met Kyle. Kyle was a beautiful girl. She had brown eyes and black hair. She was tan from summer but also naturally. I think she saw me struggling and wanted to be nice and help.

"Hi are you new here?" She asked me.

"Yeah I'm Savannah I just moved from Oregon." I responded back.

"I'm Kyle. I saw you first period and I didn't think I recognized you." She smiled at me. She was really nice and friendly.

"Can you tell me where the health room is?" I asked politely.

"I'll do you one better and walk you there. I have health too." We walked there and I found out that we had three classes together and we're into a lot of the same things like movies, writing and boys. We walked into the class and sat in the back row. Two rows in front of Kyle sat an unforgettable face. A face I will never forget until the day I die. He was a football player and walked in with his blonde friend who was also on the football team. When I saw him things seemed to be going in slow motion. When he looked back at me I had a little bit of a stunned moment. He smiled his gorgeous smile and I smile and waved back. Then the bell rang and the rest of the seven missing kids flooded in filling the empty seats.

"Hello class my name is Mrs.Randly, I will be you health teacher for this semester." When she talked she sounded like she couldn't get out of the class fast enough. I could tell she hated us and I think everyone else could too. The kid sitting in front of me dropped a note on my desk while Mrs.Randly wrote something on the chalk bored. I opened it up and it said look up. I looked up and saw the cute football player wink at me. I smiled and bit my lip. I looked back down at the note and it read: Are you new to school? My name is Jack and I think your really cute! We should hang out after school. We can talk after class.

"Mrs.Randly, could you step outside for a second I just have a quick question for you." Said a meek little woman.

"Class stay silent please while I speak to Ms.Belcarty." She walked out and shut the door. Kyle turned to me.

"Savannah this is Janey. She is my best friend."

"Hi I'm Savannah." I reached for her hand. She smiled and shook it. Jack started walking over.

"Oh my God! Why is Jack Harley coming over this way!?" Janey said. She freaked out when she saw him. He stood right in front of me and smiles at me.

"Hi." He said to me.

"Hey." I said back.

"You didn't answer my note, wanna hang after school?" My heart was beating irregular and my stomach was doing flips. I saw Kyle and Janey flipping out in the corner of my eye.

"Maybe." I responded. Kyle and Janey turned and looked at me like I was insane for saying maybe.

"Well why don't you just text me when you figure out what your doing?" He said. He was totally nice and I couldn't resist liking him.

"Okay, put your number in my phone." I took out my iPhone and unlocked it. He put in his number then locked it again.

"Well maybe I'll see you later..."

"Savannah." I finished.

"Pretty name to match a pretty face." He smiled. "Text me when you can so I can get your number." He walked back to his seat. Kyle and Janey looked like they just watched an episode of Degrassi. I looked down and replayed the moment in my mind over and over again. It made me smile.

"Do you know who you just talked to?" Kyle asked.

"Yeah. Jack. He is on the Football team." I said. I made it seem like no big deal.

"He is captain of the team. He is the most popular guy in our grade. He totally wants you!" Janey said.

"You think so?" I said.

"Yeah, it's kinda obvi." Kyle responded.

"Okay class quiet down now!" Mrs.Randly walked back in. She continued writing what she was writing before she left. I took out my phone to text Jack. When I unlocked my phone, his contact came up...Jack The Guy I'll Be Dating Harley <3. I smiled and looked at him. He was looking at me. He raised an eyebrow at me. I shook my head. He turned around. I thought, 'wow, first day and a guy already likes me and I have two friends...I think I'm gonna like it here!'
