I laugh, "And then there were two" I repeat. "What do you want to do now?"

"I don't know, we could watch something else. What kind of desserts do have in this house?"

"How on earth are you still hungry!" I exclaim. "After 3 burgers, popcorn and chocolate! You should be dead!" He laughs.

"It's my secret talent, I've hidden it from you all these years." We both giggle. "No, you know what it is? I'm always sharing with you so I never get enough to eat! Maybe that's why I'm short. June, you've been stunting my growth!"

"It's what I'm best at." I smile wryly. "Spewing random facts and stunting growth. I did tons and tons of research on how to do it without the specimen knowing, I'm surprised you figured it out!"

We're both laughing our eyes out now, trying to be quiet while doing so. "You're hilarious." Day says, shaking his head.

"Ok but back to the movie, what do you want to watch now? And if you put in a different Star Wars movie I will literally murder you."

"Fine" he says, "no more Star Wars, let's do something even nerdier. How about lord of the rings?" It takes all of my self control to keep a straight face. Lotr marathons became tradition for us, usually on Halloween. We are truly nerdy.

"Fine, but we should only watch one of them, I'm not sure I have it in me to watch 12 hours of film right now. Also, I need sleep." He laughs and finds the movies.

"First, second or third?" He asks.

"Second. Everyone knows it's the best."

"That is true"

"That's another one of my many talents and skills. I only ever speak the truth." I say

"If that isn't the biggest bull shit I have ever heard!" He says laughing.

"Ok, ok it definitely is bs" I admit

The movie starts and we grab a bunch of the blankets and pillows that were strewn all over the floor, snuggling into each other. Day puts his feet up and I put my legs over his, resting my head on his shoulder. The movie begins and we stop talking, actually paying attention this time.

After about half an hour I start drifting of to sleep but something catches my attention. I look over at Day and see that he is clenching and unclenching his fists, eyes squeezed shut. He has a sheen of sweat covering his face. I sit up, suddenly worried. "Day, what's wrong? What's happening?"

"It's fine. It's just a migraine." He says waving me off and then rubbing his temples.

"Why didn't you tell me sooner? The movie can't be helping. Come on, let's get you take care of." I stand up and turn off the tv. Making my way into the kitchen, I grab a towel and get it wet as well as a glass of water. When I come back into the living room Day is covering his face with his hands, he looks bad.

"You look like shit." I comment

"Thank you," he says sarcastically "for your observation. It was incredibly helpful."

"Anytime." I take his hands and ease them off of his face, putting the wet towel on his forehead. "I'll be right back, I'm going to get you some Tylenol."

"Thanks." He mutters. "Do you mind turning the lights off too? It feels like there are knives in my head."

"Sure." I switch the lights off and grab the Tylenol, making my way back to the sofa. "Here take this and then try to sleep." I hand him the medicine and sit down on the floor next to him. He takes it and lays his head back against the arm of the sofa, closing his eyes. "I meant in your bed, you dingus! Don't sleep here."

"Oh but the bed is so far away." He complains.

"Come on, I'll help you." I help him stand up and we make our way into the guest room, staying quiet as to not wake Eden. When he's in the bed, covers all tucked in around him I turn to leave but he grabs my hand.

"Wait June. Don't go." He pleads with his eyes.

"Well what do you want me to do? I need to sleep too, and I'm not about to lay down on the floor."

"Just, just stay for a moment, will you?"

"Fine." I sit down on the edge of the bed and take his hand in mine. "Now go to sleep you idiot." I smile at him.

In a matter of minutes his breathing slows and his hand goes limp in mine. I go out and upstairs to my bedroom.

That's two Wing brothers tucked in, I think to myself. Time to tuck myself in. With that I climb into my bed close my eyes.

I wake up to the sound of talking downstairs. Light shines through my window, illuminating the room. It's beautiful.

Today is Saturday and I have a few ideas of what we can do to cheer Eden and Day up. I make my way downstairs to see Eden and Metias in the kitchen. Metias is busy making pancakes and Eden is sitting on a stool by the counter, taking apart the broken alarm clock from the guest room. They talk easily, laughing every now and then.

I go and sit next to Eden leaning over to see what he is doing. "Are you June or Daniel?" He asks

"It's June." I say, "I'm guessing Day is still sleeping?"

"Yep!" He says cheerfully. "What happened last night, I don't remember falling asleep, or even going into that room?"

"You literally fell asleep on top of me kid." I say laughing

"Oh! Sorry. I guess I was tired."

"Yeah I guess, what are you doing to that alarm clock?" I ask

"I'm fixing it of course."

"Wow Eden, you really are insanely smart." I say, shaking my head.

He shrugs, "Not really, I'm just interested in how stuff works." He continues at his work and I stand up and walk over to Metias.

"How are you this fine morning?" He asks

"I am doing just fine and dandy." I lean close and whisper too him, "I have a few ideas on how to cheer these two up, how does a trip to the amusement park sound? You can come, or if you'd rather stay and get some alone time that's fine too."

"That sounds great! I'd love to come"

"Great! I'll go wake Day up and then we can tell them."

"Sounds good"

I walk into the guest room and over to Day's bed. He looks so peaceful, his face completely relaxed, no worries whatsoever. I reach out and shake his shoulder gently.

He opens his eyes and stretches, siting up. "What's up?"

"Morning sleeping beauty." I say. "Eden is already up and Metias is making breakfast. I thought we might go to the amusement park for a few hours, help cheer you two up?"

His face lights up at my words, "That sounds like a great idea!"

"Good. Now come eat something then we can leave." He walks out with me and sits next to Eden, probably asking he same questions I did about the clock.

When we're all stuffed full of pancakes, we grab some money and snacks and head out to the car. "Want me to drive?" I ask Metias.

"No, I got it. You go sit in the back with those dorks." I grin at him, climb into the back of the car and with that, we're off.
