Can't you stay?
Can't you go?
Won't you fall?
Won't you hold?
At freedom's glorious pounding shore.
Do you hide?
Do you fight?
Might you love?
Might you bite?
Into the vast tempest of the night.
Are you mocked?
Are you proud?
Will you bloom?
Will you doubt?
Beneath the fortress ruins' amount.
Upon the woven path unto day,
Among the melody of the rain,
Within the cold and white flakes of snow,
For cloudless, boundless sky have you flown,
Can't you, won't you, may you find hope.
