Agnes's POV

'Their heartbeat is stable, though they are still weak, so we need to run some test and observations to find if there's a remaining side effects'

Kumunot ang noo ko, hindi ko magalaw ang katawan ko at tanging ang ulo ko lang ang kaya kong igalaw. Nanghihina man ay sinubukan kong idilat ang mga mata ko at sinalubong ako ng maliwanag na ilaw. Napakurap kurap ako ng ilang beses ng pumasok sa isipan ko ang huling pangyayari.

"You shouldn't have taken and eaten the cake"

I heard a familiar voice, so i turned to my right side and saw Anthony who's deadly looking at me with his arms crossed. Wait--

I turned my head on the left and saw the girls who's lying on hospital bed too and they are not yet conscious.

"Agnes" napatingin ako kay Akira ng lumapit sya sa kama ko kasunod ang iba. Their serious face sent a guilt in my heart.

"I-im sorry, i didn't know" halos bulong kong salita. I felt my eyes sting and i am about to cry in just a little push.

"Hey, it wasn't your fault" salita ni Ace at hinagod ang balikat ko. As if reassuring me.

"It's true, it wasn't your fault. Maybe it was my fault," napatigin ako sa kabilang bed kung saan si Azra ang pinakamalapit sakin. Gising na pala ito at nakatingin lang sa kisame at namumutla rin. Lumayo saamin ang ibang boys at tinignan ang iba kung gising narin sila.

"I pushed them to eat it, even though we didn't know who bought the cupcakes" dagdag ni Azra.

"Azra, it's no ones fault" my soft voice answered her with reassuring tone. I don't want her to feel bad of what happened to us, like i didn't felt it a seconds ago.

"Nangyari na. It was no ones fault. Just stay here and keep breathing, while i will catch the culprit. masyado na siyang maraming nabibiktima" salita ni Akira at lumabas ng kwarto. Napatitig ako sa kisame.

"Want some water?" Napatingin ako sa left side at nakita si Sebastian na naglalagay ng tubig sa baso. Tumango ako at sinubukan umupo pero wala talaga akong lakas, naramdaman ko nalang ang dalawang kamay na humawak sa mga balikat ko at tinulungan akong makaupo. Surprisingly, it was Anthony. Binigyan naman ako ng tubig ni Sebastian at tinanggap ko naman ito saka ininom.

"The poison was completely taken out of your body, but it show some side effects" salita ni Sebastian at naupo sa nakalaan na upuan. Binigay ko sa kanya ang baso na nilagay nya pabalik sa mesa.

"Side effects?" Tanong ko. Wala naman akong nararamdamang kakaiba sa katawan ko.

Tumango sya at nagulat ako ng iangat nya ang kamay ko at nakita ko ang balat ko na hindi ko pinansin kanina.

"Yours was different from the others, instead of having headaches and stomachache, you had rashes which is more questionable." Sagot nya at binaba ang kamay ko. Napahawak ako sa balat ko.

"Does it look bad?" Tanging nasagot ko imbis pagtuunan ng pansin ang kasalukuyan kong kondisyon.

"No, it didn't" sagot nya kaya napangiti ako at bumuntong hininga.

"Cut the crap. Do you know what you got yourself into?" Napabaling ako kay Anthony ng sumingit sya at ang bored nyang mukha nya ang bumungad sakin. He doesn't sound angry but he looks pissed.

"You almost killed your self and the others. If you just ignored it and wait for someone to take it, you couldn't have been in that situation" dagdag nya andi can feel his range. He is like lecturing me but he was just calm and composed which i don't know why he is saying those.

"Anthony, she didn't know" sabat naman ni Sebastian. Umiwas ng tingin si Anthony at bumaling sa ibang direksyon.

"She always doesn't know anything" rinig kong bulong ni Anthony. What does that mean?

"Just take a rest agnes, we'll find out soon the culprit" salita ni Sebastian. Bumuntong hininga ako at bumalik sa pagkakahiga.

The week passed and we got out of the hospital when we are fully recovered. Through the week, the boys didn't miss a day to visit us or stay in our room as if they are obliged to do it, even zach and Peter was there without spilling a single word. Aakalain mo talagang ginagawa na nilang tambayan ang kwarto namin, kahit wala silang sinasabi i can feel that they are worried about us.

Nakaupo lang ako ngayon sa sala at kumakain ng prutas na binigay ni prea, she was in the kitchen to cook a home made cupcakes which she learned from Sebastian. Kasama ko naman si heidi sa sala at naglalaro kami ng snake in ladder na binigay ni harris.

"What about we go to the mall, Agnes? Since sunday pa naman ngayon" salita ni heidi. Napangiti ako sa suhestiyon nya, the last time someone suggested it went off dahil sa redecor ng bahay but now, i think there's no reason for delay.

"Sure! Let's ask the others later" sagot ko. I am kinda excited when it comes to malling or shopping, dahil doon ko lang naeenjoy ang buhay ko, through buying things for myself and for others.

Narinig ko naman ang ilang footsteps na papunta samin kaya inangat ko ang tingin ko at nakita si akira na napaupo sa kabilang couch at nakapikit na sumandal. She was busy the whole week we were on the hospital, minsan lang syang bumisita but we understand her dahil kinakailangan nyang tutukan ang kasong inilaan sa kanya. If only there's something i could help her, but she's Athena after all she is invincible.

"Hey, wala pa bang progress sa kaso?" Biglang sumulpot si Peter sa kabilang couch na may hawak na libro pero nakatuon lang sya sa nakapikit na si akira.

"Meron na. From the last victim of poisoning, the culprit left a message, we don't know for whom it is" sagot ni akira. Heidi and i stop from playing because even her got curious on what message was left.

"Finders Keepers. Let's play a game hetta, i found you and now it's time for you to find me. Sincerely yours, M" sagot ni akira as if narrating the culprit. Tila kumabog ang dibdib ko sa binanggit na pangalan ni akira. Hetta --the name that people usually call me. Does this mean ako ang habol ng may gawa nito? No. It must be a coincidence na kapareho ko ng pangalan ang gustong pagsabihan ng culprit.

"Hetta? Is it one of the students here? Baka may kasalanan ito sa taong M na yan" singit ni heidi. One more thing M. I don't know a person starts with M, so it might not be me.

"I already come up with that thought. We don't have clues, hints or leads that could lead us to the culprit. But i got a plan on how to catch this one" sagot ni akira.

I heard that the poisoned cupcakes was randomly sent so it was just coincidence that we received it too---or does it?

"This wasn't the work of the Titans right?" Nagaalalang tanong ni Heidi.

"No, if they want us to play with them. It would be much more worst and would only take us not the others" sagot ni peter. Then it is someone from the lower class with an ability of poisoning.

But all i can do is to let Athena do the work because in no time, she will stop this madness.
