*Time Skip: A few weeks later*
It had been a few weeks since I had the pregnancy scare, but everything was getting normal. Well, as normal as life could be in our situation right now.
Since then, we had moved locations, I'm not sure where we are though. All I know is that we're next to a lake.
I was reading one of the many books that Hermione had packed, Ron was listening to his little radio again, and Hermione was giving Harry a haircut since he definitely needed one. Then again, we all did.
"Oh my god!" Hermione says, putting the scissors down and standing up.
"What?!" Harry asks.
I look up from the book to see Hermione go to the table and open one of the other books.
"Relax Harry, she wasn't talking about your haircut" I say, pointing out that she was opening a book.
I put my book down and was prepared to listen to what Hermione had found so interesting in that book.
"The sword of Gryffindor, it's goblin-made!" Hermione says, likes it the most obvious thing in the world.
"Brilliant" Harry says, not quite understanding where this was going.
"You don't understand, dirt and rust have no effect on the blade. It only takes in that which makes it stronger" Hermione continues.
"Ok?" Harry says, still as confused as I was.
"Harry, we already destroyed one horcrux, right? Tom Riddle's diary, in the Chamber of Secrets" Hermione says.
"With a basilisk fang. If you tell me you've got one of those in that bag of yours" Harry says.
"Don't you see? In the chamber of secrets you stabbed the basilisk with the sword of Gryffindor. It's blade is impregnated with basilisk venom" Hermione explains.
"It only takes in that, which makes it stronger" Harry says, getting what Hermione was saying.
"Exactly! Which is why-" Hermione starts.
"It can destroy horcruxes" Harry finishes.
"So, that's why Dumbledore left it to you in his will" Hermione says.
"You are brilliant, Hermione, truly" Harry says.
"Actually, I'm highly logical which allows me to look past extraneous detail and perceive clearly that which others overlook" Hermione says.
I walk over to the table to look at the book they were reading.
"There's only one problem-" Harry said before getting interrupted by the light going out.
We all turned to see Ron had gotten out of his bed and was holding the deluminator.
"The sword is stolen," Ron says, using the deliminator to turn the light back on. "Yeah, I'm still here. But you three carry on, don't let me spoil the fun."
"What's wrong?" Harry asks.
I, however, could already tell what was wrong, Ron was wearing the horcrux and he'd been wearing it all day.
"What's wrong? Well, nothings wrong. Not according to you, anyway" Ron says.
"Well, if you've got something to say, don't be shy. Spit it out" Harry says.
"Alright, I'll spit it out. But don't expect me to be grateful just because now we have another damn thing we've gotta find" Ron spat.
"I thought you knew what you signed up for" Harry says, trying to stay calm.
