Me and Harry look around, amazed at the sight of all the witches and wizards. We both stay close behind Hagrid so that we don't get lost.
I look at my list of school supplies and ask "Hagrid where are we going first?"
"Let's get your books first" Hagrid says, leading us to the bookshop.
*An hour later*
"Looks like we've got everything" I say.
"Except we still need wands" Harry says.
I look at the list and see that we did still need our wands.
"You two go into Ollivander's and get your wands. I'll get something while yeh do that" Hagrid says.
Me and Harry see Ollivander's across the street and walk over. We both get inside and look around, it didn't look like anyone was there.
"Is anyone here?" I ask.
"Hello?" Harry asks.
Then an old man, I am guessing is Ollivander, walked out of the dark side of the shop. He walks over and says "I wondered when I'd be seeing you Mr Potter."
Ollivander was looking at Harry amazed. A lot of people have been doing that today.
Is he famous or something?
"I remember your parents buying their first wands here like it was yesterday" Ollivander says to Harry.
Ollivander picks out a wand and brings it over. He hands it to Harry. Harry makes a few wand boxes fall off their shelves.
"Nope. Maybe this one" Ollivander says, taking the wand out of Harry's hand and giving him a different one.
This time Harry makes a vase break.
"Nope nope. Definitely not" Ollivander says, taking the wand.
He goes to the shelves and pulls out a box. "I wonder" Ollivander says, more to himself than anyone.
He brings the box over and pulls out a wand, and hands it to Harry. When Harry held the wand, a light filled the shop.
"Curious, quite curious" Ollivander says.
"Excuse me, what's curious?" Harry asks.
"The wand is curious if you're the right wizard. I think you are" Ollivander says.
Ollivander then looks at me. He goes to the shelves and gets a box. He brings it over and pulls out a wand, and hands it to me.
I give it a wave in the air like Harry had done, and a slight wind came from the wand.
"The wand has chosen it's witch" Ollivander says.
Me and Harry pay for the wands, and go outside the shop to find Hagrid walking over. He was holding a cage with a snow owl, and another cage with a gray owl.
"Here are your pets" Hagrid says.
He hands me the cage with the gray owl in it, and hands the cage with the snow owl to Harry. I immediately loved the gray owl and decided to name her Rocky, she was a beautiful bird. Harry had named his owl Hedwig, after some other famous wizard he read about.
*Next day*
Hagrid walks me and Harry to the train station, Kings Cross Station. We were both visibly nervous about Hogwarts and learning magic.
"I've gotta get goin'. Dumbledore'll want his-uh- well he'll wanna be seein' me," Hagrid says while patting the pocket of his coat.
"We need our tickets Hagrid," I say after remembering he was holding onto them for me and Harry.
