Quidditch World Cup!

I'm just gonna skip to the day of the World Cup since the books and movies don't say what happens over Summer in between the two books.

*Over Summer*

This year me and Harry were closer than ever because we had found out that Sirius Black was his godfather and my father.

We didn't get to live with him because he had to go into hiding. Sirius wrote to me and Harry as much as possible though.

I had received a letter from Ron saying that his dad got tickets to the Quidditch World Cup. Today was the day we were going. Even though I knew my adoptive parents weren't my real parents, I still called them mum and dad.

"Mum I'm gonna go to Harry's. Ron said that it would be quicker than stopping at two houses" I say, pulling on a jacket.

"Alright. Have fun at the World Cup. And have fun at school. Tell Harry we said hi" mom says.

"Alright I will. Bye love you guys" I say.

"Bye y/n" my parents and brother say. I leave my house and walk over to Harry's.

I knock on the door and Dudley answers it. I had a bit of a glow up since last year, and so did Harry. So apparently, Dudley didn't know it was me.

"Who are you?" Dudley asks.

"It's me y/n. One of the people you bullied all your life" I say in an annoyed tone.

"Oh. Harry your freak friend is here" Dudley says.

I was used to him calling me a freak because the Dursley's refused to say witch, wizard, or magic.

Harry comes downstairs and says "don't call her a freak."

"Harry everyone has called me a freak my whole life, I'm used to it by now" I say truthfully.

"Whatever. The Weasley's should be here soon" Harry says.

"How exactly are they getting here?" Vernon asks, in his grumpy voice.

"I'm not sure. Maybe they've got a new flying car?" Harry says.

"That or the floo network" I say.

Then we heard a pop from the fireplace, but the fireplace was boarded up. I heard Mr Weasley's voice, along with Fred and George's. The bricks behind the fireplace then broke and Arthur, Fred, George, and Ron were standing in the fireplace.

"Your home is so fascinating" Arthur says, looking around at all the muggle artifacts. It was very well know that Arthur loved everything about muggles.

"Let's get going before they have a cow" I say.

"Alright, come on then Harry and Y/n" Arthur says.

Me and Harry take some of the floo powder and step in the fireplace.

"The burrow!" I say, green flames rising around me.

I landed in the fireplace of the burrow and step out of the way, knowing Harry would show up any second.

"Harry! Y/n! It's lovely to see you two again. Go on outside, the table is set for dinner" Molly says.

Me and Harry walk outside and sit down at the table. Eventually everyone was back, I met Bill and Charlie, and we started eating dinner.

After dinner, I went to Ginny's room, where I was staying until school started.

"Hi Ginny" I say.

"Y/n!" Ginny says, wrapping me in a hug.

"Thank Merlin there's another girl in the house" Ginny says.
