*Next week*

We were all back at Hogwarts from the holiday break. I had piles of homework because Hermione convinced me to take all the harder classes with her.

I was sitting in the common room, stressing about how on earth I would ever finish all this homework on time.

I sigh and close your textbook, too stressed to continue homework for right now. I got all my homework and put it in my bag, and left the common room.

I walk outside, down by Hagrid's hut. Hagrid hadn't been back since the beginning of the year due to "health reasons."

I walk into the woods by Hagrid's hut and just walk around. I find a beautiful part of the woods that I could see the mountains from. There was a small pond there too.

I sit down on a rock by the small pond and just admire my beautiful surroundings. This was definitely the place I wanted to go whenever I was stressed.

I bet Hermione would like this place. It's peaceful and quiet so she could read out here.

I heard something walk by me, but I didn't see anything or anyone. Maybe it's what Harry could see but none of us.

I then heard a familiar sweet voice.

"Fascinating, aren't they?" Luna asks.

I turn around and see her petting something she could see.

"What's fascinating?" I ask.

"The thestrals" Luna says.

"Thestrals?" I ask.

"You know, the creatures that have been pulling the carriages" Luna says.

"I thought the carriages pulled themselves" I say.

"No, the thestrals have pulled the carriages every year. Don't you see them?" Luna asks.

"Erm no. I can't see them" I say.

"Well, you do have to see death in order to see thestrals" Luna says.

"You've watched someone die?" I ask.

"Yes, it was my mum. She was a very extraordinary witch, and she liked to experiment a lot. And, one day, one of her experiments went wrong. I was nine" Luna says.

"Oh I'm sorry Luna. I had no idea" I say.

"It's alright, I do get sad thinking about it sometimes. But she's in a better place now, I suppose" Luna says.

"I'm sure she is" I say.

"Harry can see them too. Did you know?" Luna asks.

"He didn't tell me, but he did act strange when he saw the carriages on the first day back" I say.

"Harry seems to think that I'm the only person who believes You-Know-Who is actually back" Luna says.

"I believe it too. It's just everyone else believes what the ministry is saying" I say.

"He mentioned you when he was here the other day, he said that he knew you believed him and that he was grateful to have you in his life" Luna says with a kind smile.

"He really said that?" I ask.

"Of course, he seems to have taken a liking to you" Luna says.

I can't tell if she's actually telling the truth or if she's just sharing her theory.

"How so?" I ask.

"He blushed a bit when I said your name. I personally think that's he's grown to like you" she says.
