Summer

Over Summer, I had gotten much closer to my godfather, Remus, and his beautiful wife, Tonk's. They've both been extremely kind to me and took me in even though it wasn't their job to.

They had recently told me that they had big news to announce, but they wanted to wait until Bill and Fleur's wedding.

They both seemed happier than usual, so I tried to think of what big news could be making them so happy right now. Yet, nothing came to my mind. I mean they were already married so I didn't see what else there was to it.

Most days, Remus would take me on walks through the woods that were next to the house we all lived in.

I honestly couldn't ask for a better life right now. I mean, I've got an amazing godfather who took me in, I've got the best aunt, the best friends in the world, and the most amazing boyfriend.

Life seemed to be going up for me, but I didn't get my hopes up on it staying that way. Anytime anything great happened in my life, it turned and my life went downhill again.

Today, I was walking through the woods on my own, admiring the nature around me. I often found it refreshing to just transform into a white wolf and run throughout the woods without a care in the world.

I transform into a white wolf and start to run through the trees and plants. Remus had told me stories about how when he went to school, his friends became illegal animagi for him.

He told me about the nights they would just run throughout the Forbidden Forest together. I wanted so badly to have someone to do that with, but none of my friends were animagi.

I stop running when I heard Tonks yell for me, signaling it was time to go to Harry's and get him. I run back to the house and transform back.

"Have another fun day in the woods?" Tonks asks, smiling at me.

"Yes, it's so fun running through as a white wolf" I say.

"Well, get your Firebolt, we're going to Privet Drive soon" Tonks says.

"Alright" I say, going inside.

I go to my room to get my Firebolt. I see my locket on the side table and put it on. I open it to the picture of my parents smiling up at me, and I smile back at it.

I wish that I could've gotten to know my parents more, but I'm still grateful I got to know my dad at least.

I put my hair in a ponytail so it won't whack me in the face when I'm flying. (If you don't have long hair then you can imagine differently.)

I leave my room and join Remus and Tonks outside again.

"Ready?" Remus asks.

"Yeah" I say.

I mount onto my Firebolt and push off the ground, now flying high into the sky. It's been a few months since I last flew on a broom. I follow Remus and Tonks in the air, and Moody, Fred, George, Ron, Hermione, Kingsley, and Mundungus Fletcher all joined our small group.

We all landed outside of Number 4 Privet Drive. I couldn't help but turn to look at the house across the street, the place I used to live with my adoptive family.

I would be able to go in the house and remember everything about them, but they wouldn't remember a single thing about me.

Hermione puts a comforting hand on my shoulder after noticing me looking at my old home.

"I'm fine Hermione, I know you had to do it too" I say.

It was true, Hermione had to erase the memories of her parents as well.
