Charlie's POV

"Let's go! We are going on a top-secret cool mission thingy like spies!" Cade exclaimed running into my room. I was just finishing off-putting my hair into a ponytail when he came in. I looked at him with a raised eyebrow through the mirror. He smirked at me.

"Now why would we be doing that?" I questioned turning around and facing him. He shrugged.

"I stayed up late last night and I did some more digging. One of the men who work for this Cerberus gang works at a bar a few towns over. I thought we would pay him a visit." He said with a simple shrug. A small smile took over my lips as I stood up.

"Well then let's go. I want to get back so I can do some paperwork for my gang." I mumbled standing up and grabbing my jacket. With a quick nod, he stood up off my bed and followed me out of my room.

"Where are you guys going?" Austin asked when we made it to the front door. We both turned towards him to realize he isn't alone. Jacob, Amalia, Hannah, and a few other men that I don't recognize all sat on the couches. I pursed my lips and looked towards Cade.

"Shopping?" I said but it came out more like a question. Austin simply raised his eyebrow at me.

"Sorry about her sounding confused. I didn't really give her a choice and just told her we are going shopping. She was confused but I'm taking her anyway. We will be back later. Tootles!" Cade explained quickly before grabbing my hand and began pulling me.

Jacob looked at me with a raised eyebrow and I just simply replied with a confused shrug. Cade dragged me out of the house and to his car that he has. I quickly got into the passenger side. He was pulling out of the driveway before I could even buckle up.

"Could you slow down." I said laughing. He glanced over at me before slowing his speed down. He smiled innocently before he got on the highway.

After driving on the highway for maybe 10 minutes he got off at an exit that led to what looked like a very rundown town. People wondered the streets still but it wasn't busy.

There were few stores in the town and I could see the end of it from where our car sat. Cade pulled over in front of the largest building in the small house. The words Riverton Bar sat on a glowing sign.

After Cade shut the car off he got out of the car, I copied his actions and got out as well. Cade quickly passed me a black fedora and black rimmed sunglasses. I looked over at him with a raised eyebrow.

"He may recognize you so you have to have some disguise." He mumbled. I hummed before putting the hat and sunglasses on.

As we walked into the bar the strong scent of alcohol hit my nose. I scrunched my nose before looking around. A few people sat around with drinks in there hands but very few.

As Cade looked around his eyes zeroed in on a man. He nudged me slightly so I followed his gaze to a man that looked to be in his late twenties. Tattoos littered his arms and neck. He had his ear, nose, eyebrow, and lip pierced. He looked like a typical gang member not going to lie.

Cade led me over to the bar and we both took a seat. The bartenders gaze flickered over to us before he made his way over.

"What could I get you both today?" He asked gruffly. I rolled my eyes at his cold tone.

"We would both like a bottle of beer." Cade answered for us. My nose scrunched at the idea. Beer really wasn't my thing but Cade knew what he was doing. The bartender nodded before disappearing around the back of the bar, only to come back seconds later with two opened beer bottles. He passed one to each of us before going back to wiping down the counter.
