Charlie's POV
Though things started off rough, Jacob did end up staying. He said he wanted to work for my forgiveness and I would like to see him attempt it.
I still feel guarded with how I feel and I don't see that wall breaking down any time soon.
"Let me come."
"No."
Yea
"Yes.""No Jacob." I stated crossing my arms. Jacob copied my stance making me roll my eyes.
"Let me come with you. I want to see you work." He stated with a shrug. I got a call from Kat while we were at the lake stating that there was another person caught taking advantage of a young girl. Fucking disgusting pigs. Jacob wants to go but I don't know how well I'd work with him being there.
"I'm going either way." He said grabbing his leather jacket before walking out the house and to the car. I grumbled and followed behind him.
"Hello Jacob." Ben said greeting Jacob as he sat down next to him. Jacob gave him a quick nod before looking at me in the front seat. I rolled my eyes and faced the front.
The drive to where the man was taken was very silent. It wasn't awkward but it wasn't the most comfortable. I was glad when we had pulled up to the warehouse. Gavin turned off the car and I turned to them.
"You know the rules. Stay in the car, don't leave. If you do you wont do anything for a week. I will hit the panic button if I need help. Kat keep eyes out for cops." I said with a curt nod. They gave me bright smiles and nodded, well all but Jacob. He just raised an eyebrow at me. I rolled my eyes and got out of the car. I began walking only to feel a shadow. I turned around only to run into a chest. I looked up and locked eyes with Jacob.
"What are you doing?" I whispered yelled.
"Following you." He said giving me a duh look. I rolled my eyes and scoffed.
"I told you to wait in the car." I said walking towards the building. He just followed me.
"I know you did, but when do I ever follow the rules." He said with a shrug. I rolled my eyes again. I stopped when we had made it to the front of the building and turned to him.
"Stay in the shadows. I don't want you getting involved." I stated which he replied with a curt nod. I entered the building to see the man tied up in a chair passed out. I smirked and completely got into my zone, forgetting Jacob was even there.
I walked over to the man who was snoring loudly. I rolled my eyes and brought my hand back and slapped him. His head whipped to the side and he groaned. He's awake now. After he blinked his eyes a little bit he looked up at me and glared.
"Charlie." He growled out.
"Oh Jenson, I thought I told you to never cross me again." I said walking over to the countless weapons that were laid out for me. I picked up a large knife and held it up inspecting it. It's sharp, good. I turned my head to see Jenson eyeing the weapons on the table.
"You just couldn't listen could you. You just had to go to the high school party and take one of those young girls. Do you have any children Jenson?" I asked grabbing a smaller knife and walking over to him. I could see the sweat forming on his forehead.
"I-I have a nine year old daughter and a seven year old son." He said eyeing me. This is just sad now.
"Just think about it. How would you like it if your nine year old was taken advantage of by a man of your age." I asked sharpening the knife. He gulped before rage flashed through his features.
"The fucker would be dead." He bit out. I smiled wickedly at him.
"Ah so you see my side of things." As if something clicked to him and his eyes widened. I walked over to him and stabbed the knife down in his hand. He let out a scream in agony which only pleased me more. I let out a laugh and pushed it down harder, I swear I could feel the chair handle under the knife.
"P-please don't do this. I-I'll change." He said squirming under the pressure. I laughed wickedly and shook my head.
"Pigs like you don't change." I said twisting the knife in his hand making him scream out again. I took my hands off the knife and walked back over to the table and grabbed my gun. I picked up my small pistol and examined it. I walked back over to Jenson and leaned down to his ear.
"Too bad those kids will grow up without a father." I whispered making him start to struggle in the ropes. I let out another laugh before lifting my gun and putting it to the center of his head.
"Don't worry. I'll tell your family about all the shit you did. By the time I'm done they will thank me that they wont ever have to see you again. Have fun rotting in hell." I said with a wicked smirk before pulling the trigger.
Almost instantly after the gunshot rang my men ran in and began taking care of the body. Everyone knows not to mess with me when I am in my zone.
I walked back over to the table and sat my gun down. I straightened up the knives before smiling down at the one with blood on it. Another disgusting pig off my list. I felt a shadow over me but I didn't react.
A hand moved my hair away from the right side of my neck before I felt a warm breath on my neck. I instantly knew who it was. I quickly side stepped away from him and looked towards Jacob.
"That was so fucking hot." He said, his voice coming out gruff. His eyes were dark and lust swam in those silver orbs.
"I'm glad you had a show." I gave him a smirk before walking away from him and back outside the building. I heard him curse slightly before the sound of his footsteps got closer.
"So who was the man?" Ben asked.
"Jenson." I grumbled. Kat huffed.
"Damn Charlie, and you didn't even let us inside to see the dick die. That's just mean." Kat said curling her lip up at me. I shrugged and smiled at her.
"He was absolutely disgusting. Like worse than my grandpa Gerald disgusting." I said fake gaging.
"Dead people have feelings too Charlie! Your grandpa is rolling in his grave!" Ben scolded me. I rolled my eyes and flipped him off.
