Epilogue

Charlie's POV

   Jacob and I walked hand in hand down the streets of our old down. We had just had dinner at Mack's Diner with Kat, Gavin, Cade, Austin, and Victoria. The others stayed back at the diner but Jacob was tired so we decided to walk back to the hotel.

   "Many years ago I saw you kill someone down there." I said pointing down the alley where I first talked to him. He let out a deep chuckle.

   "That was the day you, a good crazy girl stumbled into my life." He spoke looking down at me. I tilted my head up and smiled.

   "I'm glad you didn't kill me." I said laughing. He pressed his lips softly to mine before pulling back and kissed my nose.

   "I'm glad I didn't kill you either." He said making me giggle. We took one glance down the alley once again before turning and continued walking.

"Jacob! Cade! I swear to god if you don't get Myah and Faith in here right now then we are going to have problems!" I yelled out. I distantly heard the loud giggled of the twins before the noise of footsteps drew closer to me.

Both Cade and Jacob walked into the room, each holding one of my baby girls. With a quick smile I picked up Faith and made a funny face towards her, making her two year old self giggle.

Over two years ago I found out that I was pregnant for the twins. Jacob had been off in some business in South America when I had found out but on a good note Cade had been here with me. He was beyond happy knowing he was going to be having some cousins. (Since he is Jacobs cousin Jacobs kids would be his cousin as well).

When Jacob and I got married we decided that we would merge our gangs and become friends even stronger. Kat is in charge with my parts of the gang back in America but some chose to stick with me and move to Italy. Jacob and I run the gang together.

   "Cade are you almost ready?" I asked turning towards him. With a quick nod he grabbed his keys and walked over towards his shoes. I walked over to Jacob and passed him Faith.

   "Have a safe flight okay." He said looking down at me. I smiled at him and pressed a quick kiss to his lips.

   "I love you forever." He said softly pressing another kiss to my lips. I smiled brightly up at him.

   "I love you forever and always." I said before turning to the twins.

  "Now you two. Don't give dad a hard time okay." Faith and Myah gave me their classic lopsided grin. I smiled and gave them both a kiss on their cheeks. With saying a few final goodbyes Cade and I left the house.

Landing in America was something that I hadn't done in a while. I had recently stayed away from America due to the high amount of memories that lay in this country. Italy became my home while America became a distant memory. Kat, Gavin, and Victoria all would come to Italy since they knew the memories that were held here for me.

Getting off the plane I was instantly hit with the busy airport of New York. Busy people rushed around trying to get to the places we had to go.

"The cab said it's here." Cade said softly. I tore my gaze away from the busy people to look up at him. With a quick nod him and I made our way to the exit of the airport.

The drive to where I asked to go was full of silence. Well apart from the occasional chatter between Cade and the driver.

When we arrived my lungs felt on fire. They burned to get out of the car and breathe in the air of New York.

"I'll stay in the car okay." Cade said turning towards me. With a stiff nod I got out of the cab and began my small walk. I took in deep breaths of the air around my to calm down the fire in my lungs.

   When I got to where I wanted to be I dropped down to my knees. With a sad smile I ran my hands across the familiar stone.

   "Happy birthday Ben." I spoke softly before setting down the flowers I brought for him. Instead of being in my knees I switched to sitting down.

   "I haven't been here in a few years which is something I regret. I should of come and visited more often. I'm married now. I also have two girls, Faith and Myah. They are some of the sweetest little girls you could ever meet Ben."

   "I wish you were here to meet them. You would've been the best uncle to them. They would have loved you as well." I said before just looking at the grave.

   "I just hope you are proud. I accomplished all what we were working for. I am the mafia queen now. When Jacob and I got married it got passed to me as well. We are number on Ben." I said laughing a sad laugh.

   "I hope you are playing cards with my mom like you used to do. Or going out and taking shots like there's no tomorrow." I paused and ran my hand over the grave.

   "I need to get back but tell mom I said hi. I love you guys so much and miss you everyday." I leaned forward and pressed a kiss to the stone before standing up. Before I walked away it felt as if arms wrapped around me tightly. I quickly looked around me to see no one. When I felt the weight gone I shook my shoulders and walked away from the graveyard.

When I sat back in the car Cade turned to me.

"Are you good?" He asked genuinely curious. I let out a breath before nodding.

"All good."

Ben's POV

I watched as Charlie sat in front of my grave for the first time in years. It was refreshing to see her here once again.

"I'm so proud of you babes." I said looking over her. A soft smile on my lips.

"We are so proud baby." A new voice said. I turned to see momma Mack standing next to me, a hand on my shoulder. I smiled brightly at her before looking back down at Charlie.

As Charlie was standing up to walk away I couldn't help myself. I leapt towards her and wrapped my arms around her. She froze for a moment. Oh my god could she feel me?

After my arms dropped she began walking away.

"Bye Charlie! I love you!" I yelled out to her as she got into the cab. With a small smile I turned to Momma Mack and grabbed her arm softly.

"Let's go play cards momma Mack." I said to which she replied with a large smile.

Charlie's POV

After spending all yesterday with Kat, Gavin, and Cade, Cade and I were on our way back to Italy. Cade no longer lives with Jacob and I but he does live near by.

Almost as soon as I stepped foot into the door I was hugged my the twins. With a large smile I dropped to my knees and pulled the girls into a tight hug. They giggled before running off to Cade.

Once Jacob walked into the room I stood up and walked over to him. He quickly pulled me into a hug.

"I missed you." He said into my hair. I laughed and shook my head.

"I was gone one day." I spoke still slightly giggling.

"One day too long." He mumbled before pressing a kiss to my forehead.

   "I love you." He said kissing me. I pulled back and scrunched my nose.

   "And I love you." I said kissing his nose.

   "Forever?" He questions biting down on his bottom lip.

   "And always." I said pressing my lips against his once again.
