The next morning

Sol woke up the next morning. He walked downstairs and found his mother standing there.

"Honey, you have a visitor." She said.

Sol shrugged, too tired to care.

"Who is it?"

"A Detective, he said his name is Miller. He says it's very important."

Sol shrugged again, and made his way to the front door.

His mother held it open as he walked outside.

"What do you want miller?" Sol asked.

"I want to ask you some questions, about last night." The detective replied.

Sol shrugged again, and steped outside.

"Alright, shoot."

The detective was standing there with three of his officers. Sol walked over to him, and he began to ask questions.

"Where were you between the hours of 11:30pm and 2:00am?" Miller asked first.

"I was on the internet, why? Who was your last visitor?"

"Emma Hall."

Sol thought for a moment, shocked.

"I don't know why she'd visit me, I don't have a sister." Sol said carefully. "Wait you saw Emma?" He said unable to stop himself.

"Yes, I was outside smoking when I saw her walking across the street. We waved at each other, and she walked into the coffee shop." Miller replied.

Sol thought for a moment.

"What did she look like?" Miller asked.

"She was wearing a hoodie and jeans." Sol shrugged again.

"Where were you last night?" Miller asked.

"I was here, with my mom."

"Alone?"

"Yes."

"Well the last I saw of Emma I think was when she snuck up behind me and punched me but that might be a dream..." Sol said to the detective.

They heard some sirens. Detective Miller looked out in the direction of the noise.

"Everyone back," he whispered. "It's nothing, just some cops."

The detective turned back to Sol.

"Anything else you remember seeing?"

Sol thought for a moment.

"I think I might have seen two people I recognize out in a car that drove away before the ghost showed up." Sol said "I saw a ghost girl and then Emma punched me."

"What did the girl look like?" Miller asked.

"She was pale, with green eyes."

"Did she have any distinguishing marks?"

"Yeah, she had a bite on her arm."

The detective took notes.

"I think the ghost had a brother." Sol added.

The detective took another note.

"Anything else?" He asked

"Yeah, my mom was watching the street before the ghost showed up."

"What did she see?"

"Nothing. Any more questions?"

The detective sighed.

"I can't find a record of her. I'm sorry you had a bad night, thank you for answering my questions."

Sol shrugged, and walked back inside.

Then he decided to look for Emma instead.

He walked into the drug store, and saw a girl sitting on a soda machine.

"Hey!" Sol said.

The girl turned to look at him. It was Emma.
