Alexis Lee Rose Taylor was born on January 16th, 1998. To tell you the truth she wasn’t even supposed to be born, she was an ‘accident’. Her mother had her when she was 18, and her father was 20. Her father didn’t want the weight of a kid to ruin his life, so he ran. This of course saddened the mother to an extent of depression. She slipped into alcohol and drug abuse when Lexi was one and a half.

Lexi’s mother was never the greatest parent, but through all of her efforts she tried to at least care for her child the best that any drug user parent would. Her mother could never get a job though.

The longest job she had kept was a cashier at a near by restaurant, Lexi was three at this time. Alex, Lexi’s mother only kept this job for about a month though. She had made enough money though to support them for at least to months, but to Alex it would only last maybe two weeks tops. Why you ask? Because she had to keep her supply of drugs up.

It was only a year later when Alex had slipped in the drug dealing business. It was then that she had met John, Lexi’s soon to be step father. John was the one to give Alex the drugs and she was the one to sell them.

They instantly hit it off, but there was one issue. Lexi. John had come into the relationship not knowing about Lexi.

In the two years that Alex and John were dating, John decided to marry Alex. Still the only thing he didn’t know about was Lexi. Even though they had dated for two years, Alex had always found ways to get Lexi away from John, mostly by sending her to her parents household for a couple of days. It was the day of their wedding that John had found out the truth.

~The wedding 2004; Alex’s POV~

A place a soft kiss to my new husbands lips. I still feel guilty for not telling him about Lexi, but it was for good reason. John was never on good terms with me about having kids. He has always hated kids, he even said, “I hate kids, they just get in the way of my business. They waste both my time and money.” I was very hesitant about telling him, but I think that he loves me, so I think he might take it well.

I turn and smile to the rest of the church. Everyone is smiling and clapping, even my dear Lexi. She’s sitting in her young uncle Danny’s lap. He and her friends were always her favorite people to be with. I could never understand it, for such a young girl… I know for a fact she has something going for her.

I look over to John sending him a guilty look, he just looks at me in confusion then nods and faces the crowd. “Well ladies and gentlemen, my beautiful wife and I would love to talk about our future plans for just one moment. We will see you all at the party in an hour.” With that he waves his hand to everyone telling them they can now leave.

As soon as everyone has filed out I sigh and sit on one of the benches patting the spot next to me. He sits down and I look into his eyes. “You know I love you right?” I say, grabbing both of his hands.

He looks as if he knows what I’m going to say. “Your pregnant aren’t you?” He looks serious, smile gone from his face.

“Not exactly.” I say in almost a whisper.

“What do you mean?” He says sternly, his hands now gripping mine tightly.

I sighed a shaky sigh, but decided I had to tell him. “John.. Over the years that we have been together, I’ve kept a secret from you. I’ve had a daughter for the past six years that you do not know of.” I rushed out as fast as I could.

He had the look of not only confusion, but horror and anger all in one expression. He raised his hand and I felt a sharp hit to my left cheek. I started at him in shock, tears welling in my eyes.

~2005; Back to biography mode (idek)

Though the events of their wedding night were not some of the best, they stayed together. Alex stayed because she thought she felt love and compassion when around him, though John stayed for different reasons. John had only stayed with Alex, not because he loved, oh no, it was far from that. He stayed for the business. Alex was his top seller. She brought him the most money for even the lowest of paying drugs. All he really wanted was money, and having that child around was wasting what he wanted.

Whenever his eyes would come into contact with those of Lexi’s he would hit her, whispering all kinds of hurtful and unpleasant things into her ears. Though this happened often, Alex never knew about it until Lexi was fifteen years old.

Alex just so happened to come home from a recent buyer who had payed some pretty big money for the coke she had. She was going to come home early to surprise John, only to find him doing something horrible. He was standing over Lexi in the living room beating her with his belt. She was crying furiously begging for him to stop. All Alex could do was stare in shock. It was only a minute later when John had noticed her peering eyes. He turned around trying to choke something out, but he didn’t know what to say.

Alex ran upstairs, John following her. She ran to her room locking the door. She searched for her phone. When she found it she dialed the police up telling them what had happened. It was only three days later when John was found guilty and sent to prison for child abuse and rape. He would be put in prison for at least a good 4 years maybe more.

Everything after that was all down hill. Lexi would barely eat, drink, or even come out of her room. Alex could see how damaged her daughter was, and she was the only one to blame. How could she have not noticed this before?

It was a year later when Alex was found with possession of drugs and sent to jail, after that she would be sent to rehab for her addiction. As for Lexi… She was sent to one of her favorite people of all. Her young uncle Danny.
