I had to make a decision, either I follow the scent or go back home and tell Lily. I thought for a good two seconds before following the wolf's scent. If I had gone back to tell Lily, maybe the rain would have fallen and washed the scent away or she would have talked me out of tracking it. I ran quickly, I didn't want the intruder to get too far ahead of me. I needed to know why he was watching me last night, it's creepy. These people really needed to learn about boundaries, they truly have no manners.

After about five minutes of sprinting, my human legs grew tired and I regretted not changing but I wanted to be as quiet as possible. I sighed in relief when lights came into my vision, it was another cabin which was almost identical to the one that Aaron 'interrogated' me in but a bit bigger. I knew what I was about to do was utterly reckless, dangerous and full on stupid but I was known for doing that sort of thing. I walked up to the door and turned the knob, the scent I was following went right up to where I was standing and I could smell a lot more scents, some familiar and others weren't.

The door was locked so the dramatic entrance I was planning got cancelled which meant that I had to settle for knocking. When the door opened and my eyes met with the man standing opposite to me I almost ran away; it was Aaron. I had to appear strong, my face and body had already healed after the beating I took.

"Didn't your mother teach you that it is bad to hit girls?" I asked in a condescending tone. I knew that he was volatile but something about him made me want to challenge him.

"Don't you dare mention my mother." He said, his tone laced with hatred.

"Clearly you don't respect her because of how you treated me and how you spoke to that girl in the cabin yesterday. Is that something you grew up seeing?" I asked as I tilted my head to the side, looking up at him.

I saw that he was growing angrier by the second but I felt as though this was something that needed to be said. In my old pack I was not as tough even though my father was the Alpha and my brother was in line to take over. I was hurt a lot in my past but I wasn't going to continue being that fragile girl that I was. I have grown stronger after being independent, what I let happen to me in the past would not be a part of my present nor future.

"What did I just say?" He shouted then took a menacing step towards me.

"Aaron, don't do this, she's had enough beatings from you already. You told us quite the story about her." A deep voice sounded from behind Aaron and the scent I had been following was emanating from him. I forcefully pushed Aaron out of my way and took an accusatory step towards him.

"You." I stated plainly as I pointed at him. He was fairly tall, probably 5'11 or so which was my height, he had light brown hair and pretty brown eyes.

"Me." He smirked; he was mocking me.

"You're the creep that was watching me sleep last night. I think you should note that that is very weird and makes you seem like a stalker which is kind of a common thing for this pack since a couple of its members were following my friend and I today. If you guys found us attractive, you should have just told us, we don't bite." I ranted then ended sarcastically.

"My name is Zackary Snow and I technically wasn't watching you, I only peeped and I was told to. Trust me, I didn't want to spend my night sneaking into your house." He said and rolled his eyes.

"As if I would trust anything you say and by the way, just look at me; anyone would love to spend their night looking at me." I replied in yet another sarcastic tone; Zackary smiled.
