Seth put the little girl in the chair and as soon as she saw Lily and myself, she gave us strange looks which was very reasonable since she didn't know us.

"Who are you?" she asked in the cutest voice that I have ever heard.

"I'm Madison or Maddie, and this is Lily. We are your brothers' friends." I whispered to her then smiled.

"Huh?" She asked confused but she did not get to continue speaking because Isabelle interjected.

"Eat your dinner, Selena." Isabelle chimed in.

"Okay." was all she said before she started to eat.

I dug into my dinner and it tasted even better than it smelled. I didn't think that it was even possible. I nudged Zack and gave him an approving nod before turning back to my food. I took sips of my juice between mouthfuls of my delicious pasta. We all finished eating before Selena so Isabelle took all of our plates into the kitchen with Zack's help. It was late so she bid us goodnight before retiring to her bedroom which had to be down the hall.

Zack sat back down at the table and all of us carried on an interesting conversation before Selena spoke up. She was looking and her now empty plate.

"Daddy, bedtime?" She asked politely. My head whipped around to look at Zack because I thought that she meant him.

"Don't look at me!" He said and put his hands up, palms facing out.

"She is your daughter?" Lily asked, choking on air. Seth looked embarrassed, his cheeks were turning bright red. Selena looked at Lily and nodded. She held her hands up so that Seth could pick her up which he did.

"Yes, she is." He said quickly before rushing out of the room and down the hall that his mother just went down.

"Why didn't you tell us earlier?" I looked to Zack.

"It was not my business to tell." He responded indifferently.

"A little heads-up would have been nice." Lily sighed as she slumped in her chair.

To say that I was stunned would have been an understatement. I could not believe that Seth had a daughter, he was so young and she looked like she had to be over a year old. I would have never guessed that someone as shy as Seth would have a child at this age. We sat in silence until Seth came back into the room. Lily looked up when she heard him enter.

"Lily may I have a word with you in my room, please?" He asked quietly.

"Of course." She said, getting up quickly and following him down the hall.

"Maddie, do you want to go to my favourite spot?" Zack asked.

"Sure." I answered, I didn't have anything better to do.

He led me out the door that I came in through and we walked through the village until we got to the edge of the woods. It was very dark and for a regular human it would be difficult to see but I had little trouble navigating through the woods. The walk was about five minutes long before we reached yet another clearing but it was very small. There were a couple logs laying sideways on the ground. Zack sat down on one and I sat down opposite to him.

"I know that finding out that Seth had a daughter must have come as a shock to you but we didn't find the need to tell you guys since we did not know if you were going to join the pack or not. You said that you did not want to live under and abusive Alpha so you being in the pack is just as shocking. Aaron isn't abusive to anyone in the pack, just so you know." Zack explained.

"We would not have judged him. The mere fact that he is the one who has his daughter and he is the one who is taking care of her must mean something." I clarified.

"Yes it does, it's a long story. I will let Seth tell you when he feels comfortable doing so."

We changed the subject from being so heavy and decided to talk about my cartoon obsession. He asked about all of my hobbies, my likes and my dislikes and just trivial things that people wouldn't normally ask. The cold wind whipped across my face and I shuddered which Zack noticed.

"Come on, let's get you out of the cold before you freeze to death." He chortled.

"Thank you."

The walk back to the house was a lot faster than the walk to the clearing. We were in a rush because I was freezing but the cold didn't seem to bother Zack.

"Can you show me the rest of your house?" I asked politely.

"Sure." He smiled.

Zack led me down the hallway, there was one door then a staircase. The door led to a bathroom. Up the stairs were five bedrooms; the master bedroom, Zack's room, Seth's room, Selena's room and a guest bedroom. I was told that the master bedroom had a bathroom attached to it. There was a bathroom next to Selena's room and Zack and Seth had to share a bathroom.

"And this is my room." He said as he opened a door. His room was bigger than mine and a lot cleaner than mine. He had a king sized bed with red sheets and a brown comforter. His wardrobe was painted white and he had a full length mirror on the back of his door. There was a laptop on a desk in the far left corner of the room and two large windows above the bed.

"Do you want to switch rooms?" I asked in awe.

"No, I'm good." He chuckled and I beamed. His room was stunning. I really needed to step up my decorating game.

"Your room is just... wow." I didn't know what to say.

I sat down on his bed and looked around, he had drawings on the walls and posters of famous rappers and singers up also. His room smelled so much like him.

Obviously. I thought to myself.

I took out my phone to check the time. It was after ten o'clock. I had to leave soon. I put my phone back into my pocket then looked at Zack, who was adjusting one of his posters.

"Can you call Lily for me please?" I asked, "We have to leave."

"Sure, Seth and I will go with you." He replied before leaving the room. A minute later Seth, Zack and Lily were in Zack's room waiting for me to get off of the bed.

We made our way out of the house and towards the direction that Aaron and Katherine had brought us when we first got here. Everyone was either inside or in their wolf forms running through the woods. We all went behind trees to take off our clothes before shifting. I picked up my clothes in my mouth then met back up with the rest. They all had clothes hanging from their mouths. We darted through the woods but Lily and I had to let the boys take the lead since we were not completely sure how to get back home.

The run was long but liberating, I loved being in wolf form, I always felt so powerful but when I noticed that I could only hear Lily's thoughts I became worried. I knew that soon we would have to go through the pain of linking mentally with the rest of the pack. I was going to miss the privacy of only sharing thoughts with my best friend.

Finally, we arrived at our apartment and I felt relieved. Lily and I shifted quickly and put on our clothes before going back and standing in front of the two gigantic wolves. I was not sure of which wolf was which since this was the first time I saw the boys in wolf form. From the way the light brown wolf with the grey streaks was looking at Lily, I took an educated guess that it was Seth which meant that the wolf whose eyes were trained on me was Zack. His wolf was large and dark brown with grey streaks like his brother's.

We thanked them and walked inside. The boys waited until the door was closed before they left us. I had a lot to think about.
