It has been seven days since our meeting with Aaron and I was feeling good other than the pain on my ribcage where I got the pack's sign tattooed. It was actually pretty beautiful. All members got the name "Infinity" with a hyphen then their own name and a howling wolf. It could be as big or small as I wanted it to be. I had it done in such a way that when my arm was at my side it would cover most of the tattoo. My bra could also easily conceal it which meant I would be able to wear crop tops. I really liked the tattoo but I felt as though it would be better if I had it somewhere where no one could see it.

Lily got hers done on her upper thigh and it was a bit bigger than mine. She was also very fond of her tattoo. Aaron had given us the option of moving into the pack neighbourhood or staying in our apartment and of course we chose our apartment. For once I didn't feel like I was being threatened and that feeling was amazing. Aaron told us that we needed to meet him at the cabin today so that he could show us the way to the pack houses.

I assumed that we would be going in wolf form which meant that I would actually get to see how Aaron's wolf looks.

"Hey Lily, have you ever thought about what Aaron's wolf looks like." I asked while slicing cucumber for my salad, which I was going to have next to my burger that I currently had simmering in a homemade barbeque sauce.

"I haven't actually," She said with a thoughtful look, "have you?"

"Yup, I think it might be as black as his soul." I laughed lightly but Lily only glared at me.

"You're not nice at all." She finally smiled.

"So I've been told but I don't care." I turned off the stove and plated Lily's food then mine. "Lily, dinner is ready."

"Thanks." She responded in a chipper tone and practically skipped to the couch. She was acting very strange, I knew she was odd since we were little when she would name the trees but I thought she would have grown out of that.

Lily decided that she didn't want to watch cartoons, much to my dismay, but she did put on that new movie about cons. It was actually really good, filled with lies, romance and plot twists. We talked a little about what we thought the rest of the pack would look like and whether or not they would accept that two rogues were joining them. Packs were very touchy about persons that weren't born into the pack being initiated into it, or, at least that's how my old pack was.

I wanted to make sure that when I shifted into human form I smelled presentable so I took a shower, using my favourite scented body wash. Of course, Lily did not care about how she smelled so she opted not to have a shower, saying that her 'natural scent' was very alluring. Someone was lying to this poor child and had her confused.

Instead of ruining my clothes I decided to go outside in a towel that I could easily pick up and wash when I came back home. We walked into the forest and I shifted quickly because I didn't want to be naked in human form longer than necessary.

We ran swiftly and by then we knew the way to the cabin like the back of our hands or paws. The wind caressed my fur and I couldn't help but think about how much I loved being in this form, it made me feel safe, satisfied and happy. I pushed myself to run faster, I wanted to meet everyone and get this rite of passage over with.

"Safe, satisfied and happy?" Lily laughed in her thoughts, "and I thought that I was the cheesy one."

I pushed myself into her side which made her steps falter but she regained her composure quickly and surprisingly she didn't nudge me back. After five minutes of somewhat silence, we arrived at the cabin. Aaron was standing outside with his hands behind his back and a thoughtful expression on his face.
